With 3 less wealthier countries in union, burden falls heavier on France and Germany and Scandinavian countries

EU has a soul searching meeting and decides a free trade area is what they want and not a super state. Since they can no longer afford to equalise economies.

Europe officially goes multi speed.
Northern countries allow free movement southern countries are restricted.

But then again I'm not in charge
