What happens when #Chevrolet #Volt and BMW i3 REx go head to head? David Noland, Volt owner, and Tom Moloughney, BMW i3 REx owner, traded cars for a day to see exactly how the two range-extended electric rides would match up. The results just might surprise you.

The cars were driven in a close formation over a course of 30 miles — and were tested in a variety of conditions. Not only did Volt contend with the i3 REx, it was the favorable choice in more than a few areas including speed, extended range, conquering hilly terrain and, most of all, sticker price.

Completely stock #Chevrolet #Corvette Z06 lays down a blistering lap at VIRginia International Raceway.

This is too cool not to watch! >> http://goo.gl/5gG7hI
So get this: The new Corvette Z06 turned an absolutely blistering 2:41.3 at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), and the company has released a video of the lap recorded using the car’s awesome Performance Data Recorder. That time is really damn quick—and we should know, as we run our annual Lightning Lap competition at that track using the same highly technical, 4.1-mile Grand West Course layout […]

We serviced our Volt at Fremont Chevrolet, and after a couple of days we almost got intoxicated: smoke start flowing in the car while the Volt was running on gasoline. Turns out while changing the oil some of it (oil) spilled over the gas engine cover, so when the battery ran out of energy and the gas engine kicked in all the spilled oil burnt causing the smoke in the car. I think that avoiding oil spills when changing the oil is a very basic procedure for a certified mechanic, so I can't find a justification for this kind of negligence. The oil could have triggered a fire and an explosion, but everybody at Chevrolet tried to play down the consequences of this incident: of course, their life was not put in danger... .

Based on an earlier phone call before we went to the dealership we were quoted a price we liked for a basic model Volt. When we arrived at the dealership we were immediately provided with very friendly service and a test ride for the vehicle. The salesman confirmed our price and the pleasant experience continued. We had tickets to the Giants game that afternoon and both the salesman and the finance coordinator accommodated us to speed the process up so we could make it to the game on time. Unfortunately the Giants lost. But we had a delightful experience at your Fremont Dealership that made up for it, and we absolutely love the Volt! We are convinced that the Volt is the best Hybrid available today.

It is amazing how a dealership can be so poorly managed. I communicated both verbally and through over 35 emails with this dealership. I visited the dealership twice, confirmed the deal, went to my bank and got cashiers check and confirmed again about my appointment. The day of the appointment I called, then emailed and informed the salesperson of my time of my arrival. The sales manager called me and said that when I arrived he would like to meet me. When I arrived, exactly on time, I told them who I was and that I had a meeting with Clarke as 10:45 this morning. The front desk person said that Clarke was not in today! I mentioned that I just spoke to him and he is here now. This should have given me some insight to how this was going to play out. They found Clark and he started filling out forms for 5 to 10 minutes then took them to the sales manager who then inspected the documents. After waiting over 15 minutes I went to see the sales manager and mentioned that I have been here for 30 plus minutes and said to me, "I cannot be rushed in completing this transaction, he then gave it to another person to fill out while I waited again. This person inputted into the computer and asked why this was not done in advance, I replied, that was my question. Then the sales manager brought the paperwork over to the F&I manager on the other side of the building who then looked at the paperwork. Remember I am paying by certified check and have sent many emails previously! The F&I manager while I am still waiting now almost an hour and a half came back and said he cannot do the deal because the salesperson did not research this and did the deal wrong. Now almost 2 hours later I said if you cannot do the deal that we have discussed for over 3 weeks and after over 35 emails then give me the check back and I will leave. There is more to the story but why get into details. BTW, I have been in the automotive business since 1985 and have NEVER GONE THROUGH THIS BEFORE. JUST BAD COMMUNICATIONS and no one even said they were sorry. A deal like this I do in 20 minutes start to finish!

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. I TRAVEL 50 MILES TO WORK AND I COULD WORK AT JUST ABOUT ANY DEALERSHIP CLOSER TO HOME, BUT WHY. THE MANAGEMENT AND OWNER OF THIS PLACE MAKE IT VERY ENJOYABLE AND MAKES MY COMMUTE SEEM SHORTER THAN IT IS. IN THE 4 YEARS I HAVE BEEN HERE, I HAVE PERSONALLY PURCHASED 6 VEHICLES HERE. 3 NEW AND 3 USED. My name is Clark Saxberg and I approve this message.

This is from 2013. Avoid this place if you can. We bought a used van from them, and as soon as they found out we weren't using their financing, they gave us the cold shoulder. Then they didn't want to include me on the title with my husband. It took way too long--at least 4 hours. They lied several times, including saying they'd fill up the gas tank. Never did. Only good thing I can say is that they are fairly kid-friendly; they have a play area and brought out a ball for my kids.

I researched both my vehicle and your dealership online first. We acquired our own financing and knew what we could afford to pay and what our maximum payment could be. I emailed an inquiry and Joel replied. We made an appointment to test drive the vehicle, a few days later. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and shown our way to Joel. Again, greeted and Joel took us to see the car. Took a short test drive and both myself and my wife knew that this vehicle was just what we needed and that it just as the internet description said it would be. Not hassle with the price as we all felt that the price was fair and accurate (within Kelly Blue Book). Finance office took all the time necessary to get us taken care of and offered several options to make sure that our vehicle was covered if repairs became necessary. Initially, we were not going to add anything to the price of the car, but Eden was able to get us into a coverage that works for us and was within our maximum monthly payment options. Overall a great experience. I will definite be back, even though it is 120 miles away, and there are numerous Chevrolet dealers closer, when I purchase another car. I will definitely tell friends and family about your dealership and the great deal we got. Thanks, Arnold and Jeri Wartena

Recently leasing a 2014 Chevy Cruze, the dealership and sales team (specifically Jeff Campbell and Jeanette Boyle) did well to make us feel welcome and comfortable in the car shopping process. The dealer was knowledgeable and helpful in finding the car with all the extras we desired. While many dealerships tend to start with high prices that require a lot of negotiation, Fremont presented a fair deal and worked with us to find a lease in our budget.
