Wait!  Did no one catch the 2001 reference? "Sorry I can't do that Dave."  Great shirt, Matt.

I disagree with the victim language "forced to live a life . . . . ."  Sure, it is difficult to operate without a bank account, but, according to the article,  it is the result of bouncing checks and living paycheck to paycheck.  Not the "ideal customer" that banks/ stock holders are hoping for.

In my day as a teenager, Cracked magazine was the weirder answer to Mad Magazine, but this particular podcast is not funny, but incredibly thought provoking.

Introduction

I am a Bankruptcy and Consumer Law Lawyer in Connecticut.  I handle Foreclosure Defense and Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 cases, both consumer and business and have been doing so for over 30 years.

Over the years, I have litigated cases on both sides of the credit fence.  I am currently the State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, a member of the Connecticut Bench-Bar Foreclosure Committee and a founding member and past president of the Bankruptcy Law Network, an online resource for consumers who want to learn about bankruptcy and foreclosure.
