4. Many people are alive only because it’s illegal to shoot them
3. Help a person when they are in trouble and they'll remember you when they are in trouble again.

For those of you who don't know me, I was the founder and creator of RomEx, GEnie's popular Romance Writer's Exchange. I also worked on Delphi, AOL and a variety of other places online..

Now, if you notice, we romance writers are scattered all over G+. I've put as many of us in circles as I can, but I'm sure I'm missing many of you. In an effort to bring us all together, I've scheduled a trial "hangout" for tomorrow night:

TUESDAY, JULY 19th @ 7:00 PM

To get to the hangout itself, come back to my page (+Rebecca Sinclair) - - I also linked to it below) - and you'll find another, separate link provided once the get together starts. If you somehow get to the hangout area without the link on my page, look for the area labeled Romance Writers Room.

This will be just an informal get together, something to give everyone a chance to mingle and say hi, share some juicy news or gossip, and maybe plump up a circle or two. There won't be a guest speaker, there won't even be a structured talk.

I expect to be in the "room" until about 8 or 9 o'clock. Depending on what's going on, maybe longer. You are under no time-restrictions; you are free to stop by or leave any time the room is open, you won't be disrupting anything.

A quick tip for first-timers: even though this is a casual get together, you still want to put your best foot forrward. The dress-code is still business casual.

*Cocktails will be served.
