First time here a month ago and it was pretty toasty outside. We came towards the later half of the afternoon and found that a lot of places were sold out! Note to self: come earlier. You can have several types of foods from lobster rolls to the coveted ramen burger. Bring a blanket and you can lay out in the park area with your friends to. I will be back soon!

Everyone who eats food should come out to this spectacular outdoor food market. They have so many different, unique and incredibly tasting vendors and you will not leave empty handed. Whether that means with a donut in hand, hand crafted drinks or maybe a bottle of miso dressing, you're bound to find something you love. This is a rain or shine venue so plan accordingly. As the website says, locations are open from 11am to 6pm, and feature anywhere between 75-100 vendors. There are multiple locations so check out their actual website to find out more specifics on days/times/locations/vendors.

Smorgasburg is a great collection of local Brooklyn vendors that decends upon the East River park. Get there early as long lines form, especially for the popular bbq and ramen burger places. The wing place has a nice picnic area with a bar for sitting and enjoying the view and ambiance of the park. Spend a whole day and take a tour of the cuisines of the world from Mexico to India to Thailand to Texan BBQ. The park also has a ton of great places to sit and enjoy your purchases while taking in panoramic views of Midtown Manhattan.

Vegan hotdogs, cheese pops, ramen burgers... everyone who classes themselves a foodie and those who just love good fun food, have to come here - and come here hungry. Believe me, you'll want to try everything!

The Smorgasburg is also known as food heaven. There are so many stands to choose from that it is overwhelming, everywhere you look you see something you want to try. My suggestion is to go with a small group so that you can each try the foods you want, but then you can taste test what your friends get. It’s a win-win situation. You really can’t go wrong- just pick a stand and start from there. I recommend going to the stands with smaller portions so that you can try more things without filling up. This is easier said then done. I speak from experience after having a parsley panko schnitzel sandwich with pickled cucumbers, daikon, shallots, ginger, and caramelized onion mustard that was served on fresh pretzel bread. It’s called the Bamberg and the stand is called Schnitz and it was incredible.
