Incredible experience. Only downside was that there were no shaded areas to sit and eat.

This trendy, foodie-centric market has seen its popularity grown substantially over the last couple years. Many previously unknown vendors have started there and gone on to establish thriving restaurants, such as the Delaney's BBQ. While the location of the market changes on Sat & Sun, the vendor line up is fairly constant. It's a well run event and aside from long lines and slightly high prices, there's not much to complain about. The views on NYC are great, and the vibe is great.

Worth going to see the vast array of food vendors. I find it a bit overwhelming though.

I like that there is a wide selection of vendors but it can get very crowded with long lines which can be frustrating. I really liked the pork scallion wraps (forgot the vendor name sorry!) and hibiscus donuts from Dough

My family ate at the Smorgasbord this past Sunday. All the of the food we had was phenomenal. The sandwich from Cemita's was out of this world good. We also got a curry bowl, oysters, and a cheese pop which were all very good too. There was a fries stand that we wanted to try but the line wrapped around the tent. Only bad thing about the place was how crowded it was. Be prepared to have to bump into people to get where you want to go. Maybe at the location it normally is at its not that crowded but I don't think they were prepared for all those people. But it's well worth the crowd for the awesome food. Also they only deal in cash.

Come with an empty stomach and a handful of cash! This was such a fun place to walk through. There are so many vendors serving up all varieties of food. I had the most delicious cemita while enjoying the view of the skyline. Afterwards, I got an ice cream sandwich, which was heavenly. There were so many places I wanted to try but the stomach can only hold so much! I'll definitely be returning!

Went here several times last year. Expect to spend a bit of money if you want to sample a variety. Doughnuts from Dough, grilled cheese from Milk Truck, and huge chunk of maple bacon were some of my favorites.
