Five decades since the ramping-up of evolutionary educational curricula, experts are now calling for a change in community attitudes, if the rise in random street violence is to be curbed.

Of course it's obvious we need a change of attitude, but how long will it take to turn around even if a Christian government is put in power tomorrow?
The problem is, it only takes two generations for a culture to completely forget God.

It's no suprise really. When you convince people that life has no purpose, and human life has no value whatsoever, this is what you get. Society today is a perfect model of what happens when a generation turns their back on God.

Because education, common sense, logic and reason has improved things so much? I can not understand how the secular movement preaches "we must see evidence" so vehemently, yet the evidence is clear. Society is decaying more and more as it moves away from God. I'm not sure how it could be any more obvious.

+Anthony Beach this is your idea of advanced civilization?

You guys always bring up the crusades, inquisition, witch burning ect.. where in the teachings of Jesus Christ does he condone such actions? Just because men take actions in the name of Christ doesn't make them right. That's what mankind does, we take what is meant for good and make it evil.

Let's take science for another example. Science has done great good for mankind, medicine, travel, space exploration ect.. it's also given us the atomic bomb, chemical and biological weapons, and drugs that destroy lives.

It goes both ways.

+Nathan Bonsal I'm sorry for what you and your wife has went through. However, I urge you to seek out God, he is there and he is very real. He can turn what was meant for evil into good, for the both of you. I've seen situations like this turn around in an instant.

"There is also a correlation between scientific advancement and less violence and murder. "

How do you figure that? Science and technology have advanced at an unbelievable rate, and so has violence, murder and crime.

If I made a presumptuous statement then I apologize to all. I meant no deception toward anyone

+marks daman why don't u calm down. I've already apologized for my presumptuous statement on crime.

Also, why not look up the statistics on Christianity in America? You'll see that active Christians are on the rise. Maybe that accounts for your falling crime rate??

+michael bowman is very well known that more educated people are the less day believe in god. And we can all agree our education system is in the crapper

+Daniel Voisin sir I do not disagree. That was my original point, we should take care of our fellow man voluntarily. We've lost the love and value of life unless it's out own. It's become all about taking what you can from whoever u can.

I keep bringing up Christianity because I'm a Christian. We do whatever we can to help those in need. Not through force, but through the love of God toward our neighbors, which is the whole teaching of Jesus
