- I don't think it's unfair to call God 'all powerful'. Philosophical exceptions - like God not being able to kill himself - are not very useful to our understanding. By 'proving' his power is partial would give the wrong impression, and could only benefit detractors.Jun 5, 2015

- We can and do use the term. People who I mix with have the intelligence and maturity to understand what is meant, and these childish appeals to have God described as 'almost all-powerful' should rightly be dismissed.Jul 20, 2015
