A Quaint neighborhood spot that is a hidden gem. Service is excellent and the food is really enjoyable. The room is fairly quiet and there is alot of charm in the space. Great for a weeknight dinner with a little cocktail. Set off from the main drags a bit, its a much needed respite from the hustle of some other village hot spots.

Tremont feels like the perfect place to meet up with a friend or two and catch up; the atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, and the service is great. For lunch, I had the fried egg BLT, although it is not your typical BLT. Instead of lettuce and tomato, it is served with arugula and a tomato jam which work together so well, I was almost upset that I was too full to finish it!If you're ever in the area, take a break and dine at this great place. Be sure to take some time to look out the windows and watch the world go by on the side streets of the West Village.

Located on one of those magical, seemingly hidden blocks in the West Village (who even knew there was a Bank Street?) this white-hued eatery serves solid New American fare in a casual atmosphere. The prices are a little expensive for grub that is mouth watering but not mind blowing, but I guess you have to pay a premium to have such a charming patch of land. Not only is this joint well lit, it's quiet - I'd come here for serious conversations where you don't want every second word to get drowned out.

The quintessential West Village bistro. Intimate, relaxed, and inviting. The menu is simple and focused, the cocktails are delicious, and the wine list is mercifully not over the top/intimidating. The service is what makes this restaurant shine, the bartender and waitstaff were super friendly and attentive. Bravo! This is a perfect date night restaurant, all the ingredients are there: food, ambience, lighting, location, and service.

We REALLY enjoyed this restaurant. I had the beet salad and the yellowtail tuna together as my entree. They made the perfect pair. My husband had the salmon, which was quite good. The desserts were less inspiring.

Excellent and elegant fare. I would definitely recommend the cured salmon for an appetizer. And the burger is a solid option for a main course. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. As this place is a bit on the quieter side (at least for lunch), it allows for good conversation and a tranquil environment. I'll have to go back to try the open-faced fried egg BLT!

When you look in the windows, it looks like you're about to go into someone's house for a nice cozy dinner. The space is small, but they somehow made it seem larger than it is. The food was underwhelming, with the rabbit pappardelle and the salmon special with beets and leeks a bit too oily and salty. It's a bit more costly than I expected as well. Service was good though and the nice warm bread is a good start.
