Our son started training in Kindergarten at the age of 5. We put him in karate on a whim to help him gain focus and discipline. He is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. He is currently a red belt. Only a couple more belts before he can test for black belt. It has been a bit rocky and a little rough from time to time but he has come such a long way. My husband and I were discussing where he would be right now if we had never signed him up. Master Doss and Mr. Jordan, and the other instructors he's had over these years have been an integral part of his accomplishments and successes in his young life thus far. I am extremely pleased with the training he has received and the longer he has stayed in it the more driven and focused he has become. We truly believe his behavior and focus would be so much more of a problem if we had never enrolled him at Premier Martial Arts. It is a great feeling to have your child dedicated and involved in something so meaningful and good for them. It is a confidence booster and self defense tool as well - all in one! We know this is something he will continue with well into his adult life. Thanks so much to Premier Martial Arts, Master Doss, Mr. Jordan and the amazing instructors for their leadership and dedication to our son and the many other kids they have had part in guiding over these years.

Both of my sons have attended Premier Martial Arts for years, attending weekly classes and moving up through the belt ranks as they have advanced in their martial arts skills. The classes and the instructors here are the best. Nobody knows martial arts like Master Doss, and his commitment to excellence really shines through in his instructors. But this is about so much more than martial arts... my sons have gained discipline, self-esteem, and manners and all of this has also had a positive impact on their school work as well. I really take pride in watching the advances they've made and I know without a doubt that the life skills that they're aquiring at Premier Martial Arts will follow them into their adult lives as well. I highly recommend this place!

Well, some of these people are being kinda rough. Is the Black Belt Leadership program pricey... maybe a bit. I'm trusting them with my child though. He needs to be taught about when it's okay and when it's not okay to use the art of self defense. Mr. Crow is very effective at teaching the kids. He balances the duties of putting up with "no bull" and being patient better than I could. He does a great job. In fact my son and I are now doing a private class together on Sat mornings. Overall I think they are doing a great job with my son. I would recommend. PS I also take the MMA workout at the same time he is in his class just two doors down.

Scam, Scam, Scam.... Be warned...Ditto on the ones listed above, sales job, get your payment info so your screwed, if you opt out payments keep getting deducted, equipment is marketing up at twice what you can find retail in other places and 3X mark up on what you can get it for online. Doss is rude as hell and when he can't talk you out of your money he flips out and goes off on you. Can't believe people are still getting burned by this guy, BBB had a list a mile long of complaints on this guy. People who have put on here these "Excellent" reviews I'm sure are part of his staff and not real people.

I have been connected to this gym for the past five years. Either as an employee student or parent of a student. The friendly atmosphere and the safe environment that the gym offers is second to none. My daughter has enjoyed every class that she has attended and it compliments my own way of parenting by reinforcing the principles I teach my own child at home. She has become more focused and aware which has made her self confidence grow tremendously. The staff at Premiere Martial arts are all former students and have had excellent training form Master Doss who has everyone instructing on a very high level.

My daughter joined 2 months ago and has learned a lot more than I would have expected within that time. Yes, it can be repetitive at time as others below have mentioned however that is how one learns. My 15 year old daughters confidence and self esteem has increased incredibly within the 2 months. Master Doss also has guest instructors in on a regular basses to give the students a variety in instruction. I highly recommend Master Doss if you want someone that works well with children.

Both my 6 year old and my husband attend classes at Premier. Both have learned so much! Master Doss and the other instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are patient and encouraging and that makes their students want to give 100% (and then some.) I highly recommend Premier!

My son has always had great teachers at Premier Martial Arts. When I was younger I practiced martial arts for 10 years and I am extremely picky in my martial arts school. When we moved to Austin I observed about 7 schools before I discovered Premier. When I walked in I saw the respect, discipline and motivation in the studio, I knew I found the right school.
