40 year old Greek PM Alexis Tsipris has some "young guns". He gave the evil empire "IMF" a flat out NO to Austerity provisions in their tightly constrained "bail-out" offer. You know "Austerity Provisions" - like when the NJ economy was reeling- Christie de-funded / stopped cold-the Lautenberg Tunnel project to NYC plus cut wages and pensions and topped off his rescue plan with lower income taxes on the top 1%. That has certainly worked out well now hasn't it?
Tsipris hasn't taken the safe route either-he has put his "NO" memo out for an "Up or Down" vote by the Greek people- meaning-if they say "ok" he stays- if not - he will most likely be forced to resign. Looks like there are a few Gen X out there with guts. Well done Alexis!

Emerging market countries are starting to feel the credit crisis in real time.  Everyone wonders why NYC is doing so well and the rest of the country, while supposedly enjoying the high stock market index, is still reeling from the great recession of 2009.  Well folks, here is he deal.  Anytime you dump $400 billion dollars on one small island you should not be surprised it has flourished.  That is correct.  Manhattan - the few square miles it is - received an enormous amount of financial energy.  Hydrogen bomb energy. So don't slap yourselves on the back residents of Wall Street.  Your welfare package was full and complete / with no strings attached.  Feeling empowered?

New Jersey court ruled that employees can be criminally prosecuted for stealing or copying confidential documents from their employers to bolster their discrimination lawsuits.  The ruling seems a bit ironic that evidence of wrong doing becomes a wrong doing in and of itself.

Senate cleared  the way for President Obama to fast track trade deals with foreign governments. The jury is still out on whether this will be the disaster NAFTA turned out to be for American workers.  Hopefully not. Perhaps Mr. Obama feels that the only way to raise American workers salaries is to raise the standards of workers in countries we trade with. Time will tell.

The failure of the State of  NJ to build a second  Tunnel to NYC has put the State back 50 years in economic advancement; all while helping Brooklyn and Queens with low taxes and easy access to NYC employment.  The failure to complete Frank Lautenberg's project was criminal.  NJ will not overcome this political blunder in our lifetime.

A favorite pet is not a Service animal. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not considered service animals either. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the individual’s disability. It does not matter if a person has a note from a doctor that states that the person has a disability and needs to have the animal for emotional support. A doctor’s letter does not turn an animal into a service animal.
