Why Digital Teacher?

Ushering a new age in school education, the A.P. State government introduced a new syllabus for secondary classes, effective from the academic year 2014-15.

The current presentation of the subject is different from the way it was presented in the yester years in more than one way.

The simple dictum that “science is in doing” has been adopted in the present version of science textbooks.

The deductive approach of teaching science has been skillfully minimized for the content types where it is truly required. 

The content has been developed keeping in mind the scientific methods of instruction, complementing the newly introduced syllabus of 10th standard.

As a much needed welcome change, the abstract ideas of mathematics are presented using real life examples in the new syllabus, along with their applications

The teaching approach of English language has become more scientific keeping in view the significance of communicational skills in present day and age.

Features of the product:

The product presents a Unit Plan to the teachers which can either be adopted as it is or customized as per their needs in the planning stage of the instruction delivery.
A template of the Lesson Plan is provided to break the instructions of a unit at class-to-class level on the lines of the unit plan.
The pace of instruction delivery is placed in the hands of the teacher through the Overview section of the product which gives a bird’s eye view of the subject matter of a unit.
A typical unit is divided into Introduction, Instruction and Evaluation sections in the lines of standard teaching-learning process.
The content under Introduction section is divided into three sections, which help the teacher in recalling the previous knowledge, developing motivation and in proper announcement of the subject.
The content of the subject under Instruction section is divided into several types, namely, the “Concept Model/Activity”,“Law/Principle”,“Theory/Lab Activity”,“Derivation/Numerical Problems” and “Uses/Applications”, based on the nature of the science subject.

The content of the subject is divided into five elements, Namely, Facts, Mapping, Processes, Procedure, and Concept.
Facts are presented using smart arts, mapping skills are taught to the students using simulation. Animations are used to comprehend concepts, processes and procedures. 
The students can assess the understanding of the subject by taking a mock unit test at the end of each unit.
