Roger Berkeley is a seventeen year old songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Dublin.
He sings and also plays piano and guitar.
Roger's performing and writing genres include anything from hard rock to classical and plenty in between.
Primarily a pianist who has completed Grade 8 (Merit, ABRSM), Roger has won numerous awards for his musical ability, including 'Highly Commended' at the Feis Ceol, 'Very Highly Commended' at EPTA 2013, many awards from in-house DIT Conservatory of Music events and Most Original Act in a KH Talent Show, not to mention a Second Place medal at the Newpark Music Festival in May 2012, and the formal recognition of his musical contribution to The Kings Hospital, in the form of the Honours Tie.
Most of Roger's vocal experience is through the King's Hospital Chapel Singers, a choir which has won numerous competitions and appeared at many prestigious venues.
Since he started writing his first song in early 2011, Roger has quite a catalog of future hits, from which he chose 9 to appear on his debut album, Good Times which was released in December 2012. He has also penned a number of songs to appear on his next album, Going For Gold, which will be released next year.
