This question in Google Maps seems extremely obsolete in Sweden, or at least Stockholm. There are far more card-only places than cash-only. What do you say?

One of the best music videos in a long time!

This is interesting to see. There's always been fashion, and always will be, but I wonder if men have had as many demands on their bodies? Also, it would be interesting to see how the view on masculinity/femininity changed over the years.

I highly recommend this week's episode of This American Life. The segment where Lindy West talks to a human that trolled her in a very mean and painful way is so interesting. The conflicting feelings I felt, Lindy really made a good job of conveying her ambiguity.

It's interesting to take our new habits and put them in an old context, but at the same time this video leads my thoughts to "digital detox", a concept that reeks of digital dualism. The thought that the digital realm "isn't as real" as the meat world works well in the movie The Matrix, but in our world it's just an excuse for people to be reactionary luddites.

Having said that, I like the approach that this miniseries has taken (there's also a part 1), because it's more inviting to reflection than the other movies from the same source.

This is very fascinating: that computers need very little data to know us better than anyone but close friends and family.

I tried this and it accurately predicted my gender, sexual orientation, religious views, political orientation and, I would like to believe, intelligence. The Big 5 is hard to say, but I think it did a fair profile there too. It failed in the age (31 instead of 37) and relationship departments.

It's a marketing goldmine and an integrity nightmare.
