Ok, maybe the cavalry's coming. But not that often. Recently, through a chance encounter with a distant cousin, I was able to find the correct name, with supporting documentation, for a half 2nd great-grandaunt known as “Jennoriad” in census records, married to a 4th cousin 5 times removed.

+Tessa Keough That's hilarious. Do I think I'm getting close? Well, I did have fears but a million or unlimited would work for me.

+Tessa Keough I wish I'd thought of it sooner. With some people asking for space is never going to work. You have to TAKE it.

The vague font now being used for the FamilySearch search results? Is this temporary? One can only hope.

How Do I Do That?  -

How do you handle entering DNA matches that aren't yet clarified?

I'm thinking of either putting the lines into my existing family file and marking everyone as Invisible so they don't show up when I generate charts for my website. Or starting another family file and marking each person (in their User ID possibly?) which person they came from.

+Kelly Booth When I know which lines to put in I can do it that way. Until then I'll have to stick with my clunkier method.

If they can 3-D print foam molds for custom knee-braces using an iPad app, surely they can do the same for shoes.

Enough with walking up on our heels with scrunched up toes. Who came up with that plan and why are we still doing it?

These shoes are 3D-printed using flexible, durable filament so they can be folded up and stuffed into a pocket or bag.

I thought since Blogger belongs to Google and Google wants websites to be mobile-friendly now, they would change all the Blogger blogs over automatically. No. Apparently you have to do it yourself by choosing a specifically mobile theme. I could not find any information about mobile on the Blogger Help site itself.

At the end of the day genealogy is information and sources. A genealogy do-over is better information and better sources. And the only reason this matters to me is that I don’t want my descendants thinking of me as a
