Puzzled: (Legacy 7.5)

Every marriage in Legacy is automatically assigned an MRIN. The total number of families, i.e. marriages, showing in my stats is 5554, the same number showing in the Marriage List.

If I do a search on MRIN equal to or greater than 1 and equal to or less than 10,000 (exceeding the highest MRIN used in my database) and sex equals Male, I get 5284 marriages.

Where are the other 270?

If I use Female instead I get 5322. If I leave Sex off the query and divide by two, I get 5303.

If this exercise (or issue) tells us anything it is that we can't just take a statistic that is provided at face value. Thanks to +Jerry Kocis and +Ed Allard for bringing up multiple marriages. As we have very few of those in my tree, I am still looking for the differences but now I have some ideas. +JL Beeken do you see what you started (had to put on my thinking cap today). Let us know when you get back to this conundrum and have any more insights.

Can it be said enough times?

About 3 weeks ago I heard that the average American consumes 22 teaspoons of "added sugar" every day.

Visualizing that in my mind led me to stop eating foods that contain added sugar in any form. I'm on day 17 of "no added sugar." The first thing to go was my craving for anything sweet--all my standard snacks, cereals, etc. The second thing to go was 5 lbs...so far. I feel so much better, and so much more in control.

So today, I'm sharing this infographic in hopes that someone else will take a minute, visualize the amount of sugar they are consuming, and take the simple step to do something about it.

Here's my Show & Tell. Version 7.5; balanced, spacious and uncluttered, all the things that v.8 is not.

I've been over my deal breakers ad nauseam. I just don't like the look of it. The Family View is very unbalanced, to my eyes anyway and scrunched up so I don't enjoy being there. I didn't get much further into it so I can't comment. I have a lot of genealogy work to catch up on and I'd rather spend my time there than being offended by something I can't fix. AND spending time making bug lists that go on forever.

How Do I Do That?  -

Media Relinker (v.8)

This still makes me click for every single picture across 3 folders (total of 589 times) regardless of the fact that Locations already shows the right paths. What happened to the simple way (v.7) of linking one file in a folder and it would re-link the rest automatically?
