The location was perfect! It is far from the crowd but close enough to all of the activities. The beach was nice and not over crowded. The view of the ocean from the rim was great! I watched the sun rise every morning. The rooms are nice and comfortable. We ate breakfast at the resort and it was over priced but good still. I will return in the future.

Thank you for your review about your stay. We appreciate your taking the time and hope you will come back and see us again soon. The sun rises I will have to say are pretty awesome too.

The Resort was located on the ocean front with a wonderful pier grill/bar. The facilities were nice and clean, and the staff was great. The rooms appeared modern and the beds and amenities in the room were very clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular! The only downsides: 1) AC unit was rather noisy, but was very effective! 2) There were no vending machines on every floor, in fact I could only find one located on the second floor. The large pool pictured in the resort photos was closed, somewhat of a bummer with 2 kiddos! Overall the resort was perfect for us and we would definitely come back. The value was incredible!

The resort is currently going under construction, which we knew prior to check-in. The construction wasn't actually a huge problem. The room was recently renovated, which was nice. We had an oceanside view, and easy access to the pier. Those were the benefits of our stay. Now for the negatives: 1. Our room was not ready by 4pm (check-in time). We did a "soft check-in" at 11am, so we were able to receive our parking pass and access to any resort amenities. However, when 4pm rolled around, we called the resort to see if our room was ready. The employee told us that they were still waiting on housekeeping and that she had no estimated time on when our room would be ready. When we asked for just an idea so that we could be prepared, she said it would "be another hour or so". This was upsetting because we expected to be able to access our room by the normal check-in time. 2. The fire alarm. We were inside our room Thursday evening (around 8pm), when all of a sudden we heard this loud alarm outside of our room. We went outside to check it out, and it was the fire alarm. The alarm went off for about 30 minutes. We walked outside and spoke to an employee who informed us that "this happens all of the time". That was a bit concerning. The employee seemed very frustrated with the fact that the alarm goes off quite frequently. Overall, the stay was nice. However, the minor negatives made a huge impact on our vacation and we will most likely not stay at this resort again for those reasons.

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for your problems with the room not being ready and the fire alarm. We all try very hard to have the rooms ready by the normal check in time and sometimes we fall short. We do hope that you'll come back and see us again on your next trip to Myrtle Beach.

Pictures are very misleading. Putt Putt course is a disaster. Indoor poor is murky green. Very loud planes going overhead through the night. Room is nice even though we found a note left to housekeeping from previous guests and felt sand in bathroom area. Then they tried to double book the room being surprised that they already had us in our room when they came to the door. Makes me wonder if other guests had been in my room while we were out and had to go to the front desk once they saw our stuff... our bedroom is right beside the elevator meaning lots of loud echoing voices, one man on his phone past midnight right outside our window for 45 minutes... oh and marlins restaurant looks like it's in a empty warehouse room and nothing like the picture advertised. Extremely misleading and we are so dissatisfied we wanted to change hotels after the first night but we are forced to stay since they won't refund for the unused nights. $180 a night for this is bullshit.

I've stayed several times, usually in September. For me, having two restaurants, a nice pier, plenty of pools, and never have to leave the grounds is great! One side is next to the State Park, nice and natural. The other side is all one could want from Myrtle Beach! A large open air mall within walking distance...for those that go to the beach to shop. Very pleasant staff, friendly atmosphere, and I love the breakfast buffet, big bang for the buck! :)

The room was nice. When we left to go home someone stole our cooler out the back of our truck. Got a hold of security, we asked if there were any cameras for him to look at to see who stole it. The security guard said no. There is only one security guard for the whole place. We are mad at the price for the rooms that they could afford security cameras. The guard even said that people's stuff gets STOLEN from there all the time. People be alert when you go there. Won't go back.

Stayed March 14 - 18. Lovely beach, although no beach umbrellas due to (I guess) off season. No restaurants were open, no ice for rooms available. Renovations were much more extensive than we were led to believe. Bathroom smelled bad the entire week. Lazy Rivers were about the size of my above ground pool. Daily room charge of $9.54 although we only had 2 bottles of water the entire stay, plus $54.54 package charge which I'm guessing was for the bottle of wine and cheese platter in our room when we checked in, although did not ask for. And a $50.00 per night charge for my service dog, of which the staff was informed. And to top it off, the flight path of the airport is right over the hotel. Although some things we could have overlooked, staff was too busy to answer questions upon checkout. We learned our lesson, and will find out exactly what is OPEN the next time we book a resort hotel.

My stay was from 3/13/16 to 3/18/16. The room was very nice spacious, everything was up to date and looked great no bed bugs or insect problems. In the live oak building, housekeeping was quick response for any service. The Spanish lady who cleaned on Thursday the 17 on the first floor was rude we asked for new sheets she gave us attitude and said she didn't have any didn't even clean the room.and she was on he phone the whole time , room smelled a little weird, and bathroom could be bigger. The overnight staff Pamela, Lily was very helpful, friendly, nice and welcoming. because parking was ridiculous, people who not even guest were parked there for the beach nobody got towed. For the price it could have been more to do the fishing pier you have to pay to fish and to even walk the boardwalk. I wish the outdoor pool was open because the beach was cold!. My neighbor's were smoking marijuana and the room smelled like it.. after seeing the other resort along ocean blvd I would recommend sprongmaid if you are planning to be out of the room alot. If you want to be in the resort the whole time wait until construction is finished so everything is available. I would Come back if I got the same Priceline deal I did. I can see why it was 33$ a night WORTH EVERY BIT OF MONEY!!!
