Built in August of 1896, this locomotive is the oldest continuously operating steam locomotive in The United States. Originally built as Southern Pacific 1876. It was originally used for freight service and soon renumbered to 2248 in 1901. Around 1930-1940 the SP sent her to Donner Pass along with several other locomotives to help fight fires in the mountains. She was then retire from that and used for special passenger runs. After being retired Walt Disney purchased her for a steam park that never came to be. Years later the Texas State Railroad in east Texas bought her as their first locomotive and number her #200. After starting the Texas State Railroad she was bought by a private collector in Fort Worth, William S. Davis. He remember her to 2248 and ran her between 8th Avenue in South Ft. Worth and the stockyards. In 1996 she made her first run to Grapevine. Sold to the city of Grapevine in 2003 (approx) she ran between there and the stockyards until a cylinder crack in 2011. Sidelined until October 2013, all hope seemed lost. Thankfully a new head of maintenance was hired and he got her fixed up and running. Now running every Saturday until November 21st. This is, SP 2248.

Bingol Mountains

Is among the 20 most beautiful lakes in the world to 17th place. The park covers an area of 33,000 hectares and includes 16 lakes in succession, connected by waterfalls.Plitvice is the oldest national park in Southeast Europa. All'interno the park there are also many caves of which only a small part is agibile.I lakes are formed by two rivers: the White River and the Black River, which flow in the river Korana. The waters of these rivers are rich in calcareous salts (mostly calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate), from the dissolution of carbonate rocks forming the geological structure of sito.Questi salts are precipitated by vegetation, forming layers of travertine , a sedimentary rock recently. Over time, these deposits forming real natural dams that act as barriers to water, growing by about a centimeter per year. At one point the water pressure breaks these natural levees, opening new paths in the ground.

This mechanism, in fact common to all the calcareous water, in Plitvice has assumed a particular importance.
The beauty of the National Park Plitvice, Croatia, is increased in the second round of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
