The restaurant is nestled in such a beautiful location, but everything about this place comes up short. The server brought us bread in his hands to refill the plate. The crab, avocado and mango salad was not seasoned whatsoever and the dressing does nothing for this dish. We have currently been waiting 40 minutes for a crab/sweet corn chowder and braised short ribs, so I have nothing but time to kill, considering my mood and the atmosphere is dead too. The couple next to us has already walked out because they didn't get any service for 15 minutes. Our server has been behind the bar and may be held hostage and forgotten about us.

McCormick & Kuleto's has a beautiful dining room overlooking a beautiful view; they offer well-made food in both San Francisco classic dishes and fare friendly to the palate of American tourists. I have to start with a big thank you for the Chef and our server! We are vegetarians that occasionally eat meat. We've visited before to have their seafood dishes. After looking at the vegetarian choices on the menu, we thought we might be a challenge for the kitchen - but our server took the time to clearly set our expectations and the Chef exceeded them! We had a vegetarian ravioli from the dinner menu, which was fantastic. We asked them to make us a linguine out of the sautéed mushrooms side, and what we got was absolutely gorgeous to the eye and the palate. Along with a gorgeous view of the bay, we enjoyed a leisurely dinner watching the sun set and ships pass. Lastly, I hate taking away stars, but I have to be honest about my reviews. There were some improvements that could be made, albeit small! We came on a Friday night, and I thought our seat near the door was breezy and had to much traffic; staff tended to gather in the open space in front of our table to coordinate. I also thought that while staff was attentive, it was a little inconsistent. Finally, tiny nitpick - I was considering ordering a beer, but we never got an opportunity to order more drinks after receiving water.

Seafood was good and well prepared with the exception of the tuna. View is outstanding. Service was very poor at both the host and waiter. We had a reservation and were asked to leave and come back at exactly the reserved time (we were 10 minutes early), this may have been a ploy to purchase a drink at the bar but It came across as rude. Price was very high for service and quality of food provided. I would not recommend this place considering the number of great restaurants in the Bay Area.

Beautiful location, however, the service was terrible. It took 25 minutes for the server to come back to our table after dropping bread off. Then took another 20 minutes to get cocktails and oysters. Once our server brought the oysters we were rushed through ordering the rest of our food which ended up being overcooked. The fillet was ordered medium and was served well done. They were also out of the wine we ordered. For a $200 meal for two I expect better service and food preparation and quality.

I am a wedding coordinator and we had a wedding here. All of our guests, including bride and broom, had an unforgettable experience here. This place offers a beautiful panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay from every seat. Plus, the service and facilities and food here are impressive too!! I would highly recommend McCormick & Kuleto's to our clients!

View and atmosphere is absolutely breathe-taking and that's what your paying for. The food is OK, nothing to rave about, and definitely over priced...again you're paying for the view. My husband asked for a strawberry lemonade, it had the strangest bitter taste, like alcohol. We asked the waiter who assured us the lemonade wasn't spiked, but offered to change our drink. My husband decided to go for a safe choice and get Sprite. When he tasted the sprite it was seltzer water, extremely bitter taste that I know because I extremely dislike seltzer water. We didn't want to be annoying so my husband just drank from my water. At the end before giving us our check the waiter out of nowhere gave us a schpeel about a card that we could buy a rewards card for $25 and get points for local restaurants. It was a huge turn off since by that point I already had a bitter taste in my mouth from the whole drinks situation (literally). All in all, buyer beware. You're better off eating elsewhere and just enjoying the view for free by walking around Ghirradelli Square and the Wharf.

The view at sunset is stunning. The dining room is terraced so that even the tables at the back of the room have a clear view or Aquatic Park, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. The food is usually pretty good. The Mussels on the Appetizer course are especially yummy. Last night I decided to go wild and get the Alaskan King Crab legs. They offer them prepared any one of three different ways. Traditional, garlic & butter or Szechuan, which I assumed to be spicy. Far from it sadly. The crab legs arrived cut in half length wise and in a broth. It all looked good but was really lacking in flavor. None to speak of which should be a crime when it comes to a $40 entree. I won't order it again. The mussels are a solid bet though.
