A new type of layout for android. Could be useful.

I think Sony did something similar a while back. Would be great if Google would do something like this. Imagine a Nexus device with this functionality. Opens up loads of possibilities for developers.
Microsoft's Pre-Touch system looks incredible. Infinitely more useful than (the admittedly shipping) 3D Touch.

Apparently this lib was developed by the team working on play movies at Google. I guess it's that teams takes on Rx for android. Looks interesting.
Did Google just publish its home grown alternative to RxJava?
