Disappointing experiences. First off, when I booked the vacation initially online, I received an error message that my booking had not gone through. It's a good thing I didn't try to redo the booking and called customer service instead. As it turns out, my booking had gone through and I would have been double charged, which apparently happens quite often from what the customer service agent said. Anyway, she said she'd manually send me my itinerary and, when I didn't receive it in the next couple days, I called back and had another agent resend it. Now onto the real disappointment. I made my booking about 2 weeks ago and now, the exact same vacation I purchased- same dates, same hotel, same flights, same length- has dropped $80 per person. Because it didn't drop in 24 hours of my booking, they say their hands are tied. After much discussion, I gleaned that it was the flight that had drastically dropped and that Cheap Caribbean actually charters the flights so the airline doesn't have my money yet, nor do they even have my information. When all is said and done, the fact of the matter is Cheap Caribbean dropped the price (not the airline) and because they dropped it more than 24 hours after my booking, they refuse to do anything to honor the new price. I inquired if they were able to extend my vacation a day for the same price in lieu of refunding and they informed me that no, that would require me to pay a $120 per person flight change fee (remember, the airline has none of this information) in addition to any cost difference in the actual flight. So disappointed there wasn't even the slightest bit of effort made to keep their customer happy, if not by offering a refund of the difference then by adding on an extra day to make up for the difference.

I have to say, I'm very frustrated and disappointed with this store. I have fairly awarded them 2 stars because they do have some cute merchandise. That being said, their business model leaves much to be desired. I visited their Dallas store Saturday afternoon and purchased a dress for an event I have this weekend. Upon returning home, less than an hour after I bought the dress, I received a text from the bride giving the details of a much more casual rehearsal dinner than I had expected. I was unable to return to the store that day due to it closing early for a private event. I returned shortly after the store's opening on Sunday to exchange the garment for a more appropriate dress. I made a valiant effort to find a suitable dress, trying on around 8 dresses in total. There were few dresses in my small size in the store, let alone of the proper style, presumably due to the private party the evening before. The dress is still in the same condition it was at the time I purchased it, and given my honest effort to adhere to their policy of exchanges rather than returns, I was really hoping an exception can be made for me. This was not the case. The manager told me no so I escalated it to the customer service manager, who also said no. I further escalated it to the owner, who chose to just not respond to my email. I followed up with another email, all exceedingly nice, and was told no, again by the customer service manager. If you choose to shop here, be very aware that there is little room for error. As someone who chooses to shop at small businesses to show support for local owners, I can only say, what a slap in the face.

Pros: Debbie Sexton- the manager. She is so, so great. Pet friendly- my dogs LOVE it here! Location- centralized and walking distance from tons Living quarters- huge apartments with beautiful features Cons: Parking- VERY limited and if you park in the garage, be wary of near constant break ins Upper management- The people who manage Debbie can't figure out their own bookkeeping so when you're told you were given a referral credit, make sure you set aside the $400 in case you're asked to pay it back like I was :/
