I’ve got a background in sales. And every salesperson I’ve ever met has the same obsession (aside from money), and that’s that they are all addicted to self-help books. I was, too. Sales is hard. It’s a ferocious industry that devours the weak. But even the best salespeople are voracious consumers of self-help books. They …

I've owned the #Pixel XL for 37 days and it's in for repair. Poor quality control #Google.

There are reasons why you should never go back and check out your old work. Remember, you're doing the best you can with the skills, knowledge and experience you have. As you improve, your work will improve.

I do think that not having NFC is a mistake and will, probably, stop me from buying the phone. Fast / wireless charging really nice to have but not essential, especially at this price point. An NFC chip would have added about $1 to price and so can't see why it's missing.

When I was on the train, I gave serious consideration to getting the next train back to London. I'm really glad that I didn't. The fast sounds horrific, no food and only some juice but it isn't as hard as it seems. Yes, there are days when you're up and others when you're down but overall, it's a great experience. There are various events throughout the day. Tai Chi, Yoga, Relaxation exercises and Nutritional talks. There are also various types of massage treatments available. All are great, the Nutritional talks are very enlightening. They put food in an overall context and explain the how and the why of our cravings and give you the information you need to make changes to your life. There's no judgment, so if you turn up to things, great. If you need to sleep, also great. It's what you need to do for your body to help it heal. The last day, is the creation of a raw food feast and guidance on moving back into the real world. Staying at Sura and fasting is a great way to give your body time to relax, re-charge and heal itself

Good food and good service. I had a very nice steak, cooked to my specification with mash and mushroom sauce. The mash was good but the mushroom sauce was bland. Will definitely eat here again.

It's a nice small gallery with friendly staff. I don't think that it's worth make the trip just to see it but with everything else that Calton Hill has to offer it's a nice bonus. It's also near the cafe that foes tea, etc.

I had a nice steak here. Everything is extra, sides, sauces, etc which can push the price up.

I think that the monument itself is kind on fugly. It's exactly what you'd expect for a Victorian monument big, bold, ornate and fussy. If you're up to it, climb the 287 narrow steps to the top. It's well worth doing for the views and photo ops. The best time to go is just after opening time before the crowds arrive.

Calton Hill is a great place to see Edinburgh and it's a very easy climb. Lots of places to get good photos of the city, landscapes, etc. There are plaques that provide information on what you're looking at. There's also a small art gallery, cafe, 3 monuments and several paths to explore. Nice way, on a clear day, to spend a couple of hours exploring.
