On this day in 1974: 148 tornadoes hit the United States heartland within 16 hours. By the time the deadly storm ended, 330 people had died. This was the largest grouping of tornadoes recorded in its time, affecting 11 states and Ontario, Canada. At any one moment during the storm, there were as many as 15 separate tornadoes touching the ground.

The official Google+ Page for WonderWorks Orlando!

WonderWorks Orlando began as a Top Secret research laboratory on a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle. As legend has it, the world’s greatest scientists – led by Professor Wonder – were given the task of creating a man-made tornado and harnessing the POWER of it. During this experiment, something went awry and the power of the tornado was unleashed throughout the laboratory. This created a swirling vortex that was strong enough to rip the laboratory from its foundation. It was carried thousands of miles away and landed upside-down on the top of a brick warehouse in Orlando, Florida. Remarkably, all of the experiments remained intact and functional.

WonderWorks Inversion TunnelWhen you enter the building, everything will be upside-down, so in order to participate in the fun, you must be inverted. Step inside the inversion tunnel and be turned right side up to begin your journey. Once you are properly aligned for your adventure, family fun awaits with more than 100 hands on exhibits. Visit one of Orlando’s top attractions.

I went to Wonder Works Orlando a few days ago and had an amazing experience. My friend had never been and I have but the one in Tennessee and it was great so we decided to try that one out, and I must say no regrets at all! It wasn't a bad price to get in and all of the staff was very friendly. There was one in particular who was super nice and his name was ray he was awesome! The staff in the concession stand thing was great and the ones on the rope course. I really enjoyed the laser tag game and I like that the cute staff man that was working laser tag played with us too (: So to some it up EVERYONE GO TO WONDER WORKS IT'S AWESOMEEEE!!

One of the most disappointing experiences. My family and I travelled all the way from Dubai, and chose to extend our nights in Orlando to attend the "dinner and a show," the dinner was dry pizza (we had to go to a restaurant immediately after). However, it was how we were treated that shocked us the most. We have been to many comedy shows before this and are fully aware that the front rows are often interactive and require audience participation and that is what we wanted, which is why I purchased tickets at 2pm and was the first to stand in line for the 6pm show. A server kindly told us that we may sit at the front, while another embarrassed us by rudely yelling from a distance that we may not. We were "seated" in the middle of the room, towards the wall, and were told that the front rows are "unavailable," with no other explanation than that. We did not mind, until we saw people who were behind us in line getting seated in the front. Unfortunately, that incident left us agitated, downcast, and unable to enjoy the rest of the night. After being treated that way, I truly wanted to leave the venue, however, I did not want to disrespect the comedian. It was our worst night in orlando, we would have been better off spending that night doing anything else. I am usually very easy to please, however, my experience has left me feeling extremely skeptical anytime I read "dinner and a show."

It was amazing except for a few things including The virtual air hockey and the Copy the pattern were broken. Other than that it was very awesome The 4D experience was not worth it though. It was only like 5 minutes. The ropes course was very small. Laser tag was fun, but only 7 min. I would recommend it to families who enjoy illusions and hands on.

Interesting place. It says it is an amusement park but not really. It is kind of like a science museum but not really. It explains how things work, feel and operate. Great for the hubby who always wants to be in a hurricane or earthquake without actually having to be in one. The bed of nails was cool. I like the life size piano even though I did not finish my song. The rope course was cool but boy were my feet sore. The simulator and 4d movie were good. Overall I have a good time, except that this was on the pricy side given the limited amount of things to do. Plus you have to pay for parking. Ugh.

This was our second this to Wonder Works. Establishment is scheduled to open at 9:00 AM but on this particular day (12.30.15) doors did not open until 9:15 AM. Once inside the receptionist's were not ready, they were still in the process of putting cash into the registers and setting up the reception area. Once inside (and we were the first group of the day), we had to ask the employees if they could run assist with someone of the displays as they can only be operated by employees. Did get any better one we went up to the second level. Employees stand there BS'ing with one another rather than do their job. Again, we had to ask if they could help us out. Did not have the same experience as we did a few years back on our first visit. Hopefully it was just an off day.

There were some cool things about that place, but a lot of it was either run down, didn't work, or was extremely out dated as far as the technology that was used there. The guy at the front desk was nice, but the entire staff working the ropes course, the arcade, the exhibits, and the lazer tag were extremely rude. They even used profanity around us and were complaining the whole time about how much they wanted to go home. Totally not worth it and would recommend you spend your money elsewhere for a good time.

DISAPPOINTING & OVERPRICED! Many of the machines did not work my first and will be my last visit. Even if they did seems like wouldn't make much of a difference. The only good thing this place has to offer is the outside of the building just for the picture. Paid over $150 just admission for these supposedly "rides" that you can most likely find at a Chuck E Cheese plus the cost of the food for a cafe and restrooms that were both disgustingly dirty. Take my advice just take the picture and continue on. Ridiculous!
