On this day in 1974: 148 tornadoes hit the United States heartland within 16 hours. By the time the deadly storm ended, 330 people had died. This was the largest grouping of tornadoes recorded in its time, affecting 11 states and Ontario, Canada. At any one moment during the storm, there were as many as 15 separate tornadoes touching the ground.

The official Google+ Page for WonderWorks Orlando!

WonderWorks Orlando began as a Top Secret research laboratory on a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle. As legend has it, the world’s greatest scientists – led by Professor Wonder – were given the task of creating a man-made tornado and harnessing the POWER of it. During this experiment, something went awry and the power of the tornado was unleashed throughout the laboratory. This created a swirling vortex that was strong enough to rip the laboratory from its foundation. It was carried thousands of miles away and landed upside-down on the top of a brick warehouse in Orlando, Florida. Remarkably, all of the experiments remained intact and functional.

WonderWorks Inversion TunnelWhen you enter the building, everything will be upside-down, so in order to participate in the fun, you must be inverted. Step inside the inversion tunnel and be turned right side up to begin your journey. Once you are properly aligned for your adventure, family fun awaits with more than 100 hands on exhibits. Visit one of Orlando’s top attractions.

Wonderworks has really gone downhill over the years. I visited about twelve years ago and things were in decent condition and worked properly. But my visit today was disappointing. There were multiple broken displays/games and things were worn and not kept up well. For the price of admission, I expect things to function.

Website makes it look like there is a lot more to do there then there really is. And made it look like adults would enjoy it as well. Rope challenge was the only neat thing for us. But since it was just us 4 adults then it was really expensive to play around on the rope challenge for 15 mins and then leave. The tunnel is very neat as well. I wouldn't recommend this unless your going just for the kids.

Its expensive. Exhibit is pathetic compared to Ripleys which a few blocks away and Ripleys is even way cheaper. The only thing good with this place is the indoor rope challenge. The rest are extra fee u have to pay. Wonder coaster could be a blast but they only use one even though they have two. So there is a very long line. So for 25 bucks per person ? Its expensive. Maybe for 15 bucks I might. So if youre a geeky like me that expects more, stay away.

The entertainment was perfect for my children age group. They had a blast until the Comedy Dinner Show. They advertised unlimited pizza; however they only give you one pan although you order more. The pizza was cold and tough but my kids did not care because they were hungry. The comedy show was great but in 40 degree weather the central air should have not been on full blast. My daughter was shriving because the air was up so high.

Lots of cool little stuff... a decent amount of it doesn't work properly and the attendants certainly don't care. The fellow with the beautiful accent that checked us in was super friendly, however, the entire rest of the staff looked like they hated us and their jobs. We even heard one of them complain that we should just give up and get out of the brainwave ball. The place is pretty neat, the attendants made it a miserable experience overall. Who wants to try and have fun while someone is glaring at you and muttering about you? And in case you were wondering, we were three adults, not loud crazy kids.

it was for the kids.....only downer was that a daycare or a school field trip we had to wait on trying out the different activities a little pricey.....the 4D is not all that...we loved the rope challenge

There were some interesting exhibits, but I wasn't overly impressed. It is not a great value in my opinion unless you can get discount tickets.
