On this day in 1974: 148 tornadoes hit the United States heartland within 16 hours. By the time the deadly storm ended, 330 people had died. This was the largest grouping of tornadoes recorded in its time, affecting 11 states and Ontario, Canada. At any one moment during the storm, there were as many as 15 separate tornadoes touching the ground.

The official Google+ Page for WonderWorks Orlando!

WonderWorks Orlando began as a Top Secret research laboratory on a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle. As legend has it, the world’s greatest scientists – led by Professor Wonder – were given the task of creating a man-made tornado and harnessing the POWER of it. During this experiment, something went awry and the power of the tornado was unleashed throughout the laboratory. This created a swirling vortex that was strong enough to rip the laboratory from its foundation. It was carried thousands of miles away and landed upside-down on the top of a brick warehouse in Orlando, Florida. Remarkably, all of the experiments remained intact and functional.

WonderWorks Inversion TunnelWhen you enter the building, everything will be upside-down, so in order to participate in the fun, you must be inverted. Step inside the inversion tunnel and be turned right side up to begin your journey. Once you are properly aligned for your adventure, family fun awaits with more than 100 hands on exhibits. Visit one of Orlando’s top attractions.

My family and I attended wonder works as well as the dinner comedy show on 4/6/16. And we had a great time, Tony Brett is awesome and so is the servers. It was well worth the money. I recommend the dinner comedy show to all visiting the area.

First stop on our spring break trip and my kids LOVED it!! They weren't happy at the idea that they may learn a thing or 2 while on holiday but once we got inside and they saw how cool it was they had an amazing time.. and so did I!!

We got the VIP combo (the full experience with a dinner show) and I was severley disappointed with the dinner part. It seems they were too insensitive to have pizza without pepperoni, forgetting Muslims, Jews, and vegetarians. My impression was that all their pizza is pepperoni, pulling off the pepperoni every time someone asks for cheese. For many that avoid the pepperoni grease all together, this is a big problem. Other than that, I haven't done anything

Upon entering and paying the $26 we were told that the 4D ride was broken, so she waited until we paid to tell us, very dishonest. Went inside and experienced many knick knacks, most of which where not interesting. The second level has two roller coaster simulators that we tried and they were not bad, then we played a bit of laser tag which was fun, then some video games. The 4D ride was broken as I said, so we got robbed of that, even if that worked I cannot justify the price. I'd pay $5 to come here, and thats about it. Please avoid unless you want to waste your money. Most of the staff were just yucking it up and seemed like they had better places to be. I don't blame them. There are plenty of other options in the neighborhood, you could go play mini golf at the pirate themed place there and have much much more fun.

This place hasn't changed since the 70s. Just a fancy science fair that charges people to show how things work. Good for elementary level field trip. Filled with illusions games, funky pictures and old big bulky technology that was amazing when they were introduced in the late 60s. Sad to say my smart phone is more powerful than this old fart. The employees here hate their job and you can see it in their faces. From that result they treat their customers like crap. It's very similar to David Buster, the only difference is the garage is next door instead of down under. I didn't like the fact everything is free to play except the lazer tag, can't blame them that's the only thing keeping them alive I guess.

This was the dumbest place I have ever been to! Seriously, the most exciting thing about it was he outside! Charged $57 dollars and it was blah! I'm very upset with how uninteresting this place is. I should call the police because I feel robbed. Walked out after 5 minutes!!! Don't waste your money!

There is enough in there for a good 3 hours of entertainment for a family with a 15 and a 16 year old. The rope course was the favourite. The laser tag activity looked nice and worked well enough but was not worth the price for 7.5 minutes in a very small play area. We had an ok time because there were only the four of us in there, but I can't imagine what a full house would be like with nowhere to go. As others have mentioned, some activities did not work today, such as the 4D simulator, some gravity exhibit on the first floor, and the space capsule, but we still all found something to have fun with. Big hits; the wonder wall, the bubble lab (if you can imagine two teenagers in there...scary), the sports simulator, the Titanic cold water hand dip, and the basketball arcade style games. I liked the roller coaster simulator but the kids were not impressed and actually thought it was crap. After Universal and Disney...can't blame them. My husband and I really loved the music trivia game and the natural disaster trivia section. Like I said...something for everyone. Only thing I didn't appreciate was that the third floor has a paying arcade. At this price, they should make it free or, at the very least, cheaper. Parking is paying at the back ($10 maximum for a day).

IT NEEDS A MAJOR UPDATE, 90% OF THE CREW ARE NOT FRIENDLY, ARCADE MACHINES ARE A JOKE AT LEAST 30% OF THEM DON'T WORK PROPERLY, LASER TAG IS OUT DATED VESTS ARE FOR ADULTS ONLY AND BY THE TIME WE WERE FINISHED IT WAS NO CREW TO ASSISTANCE, 4D THEATER IS NOT THAT BAD BUT GLASSES WERE NOT SANITIZED AND THE QUALITY OF THE VIEW IS POOR, ROPES ARE OKAY, 2ND LEVEL IS ALSO A JOKE TO RIDE THE ATTRACTIONS EXPECT AT LEAST 45 MINUTES IN LINE WITH ONLY 3 PPL AHEAD OF YOU, FOOD IS EXPENSIVE AND TASTE CHEAP DON'T EAT THERE. THERE ARE SOME INTERESTING STUFF BUT NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE.
