Ive been here twice. The first time I thought the staff member was quite snobby and not very helpful. The second time, I was pleasantly surprised and tried some new teas with friends with the recommendations of the young lady at the counter. I like the single personal tea pots and the selection is EXTENSIVE! I just wish they had more comfortable chairs. The space feels very cold (temperature)
All time favorite place. It's a little small, but I've always been able to get a seat. SO MANY OPTIONS! The sandwiches are simple and delicious! I bring everybody here and hand out their business cards because it is the BEST tea cafe. You can buy tea to take home too. If they have their green tea chocolate chip cookies, get one! They are so tasty!
staff is very knowledgeable with the tea selection. free wifi but maybe not a good study spot if you are the easily distracted type. the tables are pretty close together so you can hear neighboring conversations
The tea here is excellent. Brewed very well, and they have a gargantuan list of great teas that makes me want to come back again. I was jittery from coffee earlier that I shouldn't have had, and the "Mind, Body, Soul" tea slowly took that away and left me feeling calm and relaxed.
Instead of getting a tea kettle to share, my friend and I each got a cup of our own tea, and it was $3 each--quite reasonable for the overall experience.
I love this little tea joint (as apparently do most Seattlites). The baristas (is that the right word in a tea context) are amazing and super friendly. The internet connection is pretty good, and they have more varieties of tea than I thought existed!
