HDL headquarters received a delegation from Guangzhou University yesterday.

With a history of ninety years, Guangzhou University is a high-level comprehensive university in China boasting total 27 schools and enrolling approximately 34,000 undergraduate and graduate students every year.

The group which consisted of a professor and 30 undergraduates visited HDL as part of a cultural and technological exchange. The visitors toured the HDL experience center, and were very interested in smart home as it was the first time for some of them to learn about automation. They were eager to control the targets by themselves after the showroom experience and raised many concerned questions like the possible price to install a home automation system, is the system convenient for the elderly, whether HDL have openings for fresh graduates, etc.

The one day visit ended with a speech on smart home by the university professor, to answer the questions from students and expressed her gratefulness for the visit.

Recent years HDL have been working closely with universities to attract more talents. We look forward to further cooperation with more universities.

Managing the day to day operations of a hotel, office, or shopping center is no easy task. That’s why nearly all large-scale commercial buildings employ some type of building management system (BMS).

Able to control and monitor mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power, and security systems BMS
systems are the ancestors of today’s smart home solutions.

HDL’s Buspro automation system can not only function as a complete BMS solution but brings users additional features like intelligent activation, remote and local management,
customizable scene/ sequence control, energy monitoring, PMS integration, wireless control, and a whole lot more.

This is probably why five Iranian BMS integrators recently selected HDL Iran to teach them how the HDL Buspro system could be used to replace a traditional BMS system.

Lasting a total of 16 hours the HDL Iran team taught the integrators;

“Everything they would need to know to commission a Buspro system, from start to finish. All theoretical and practical concepts were included.”

Superbly adaptable, fully customizable, quicker to install, and truly smart the Buspro system is the clear choice for any BMS integrator.

To learn more about the Buspro system, please contact your local HDL representative.

HDL’s Egyptian distributor, En-Tech, has just completed a very special training course.

Unlike most training sessions which are designed for professional installers, En-Tech’s latest course was created specifically for the owners of three project management companies and their project engineers.

The six attendees were provided with an overview of HDL and then introduced to the Buspro system.

Their comprehensive introduction included an explanation of what makes a smart home smart, how the Buspro product range can be integrated into a project, and basic system commissioning and programming.

En-Tech chose to introduce HDL to project management companies because;

“A project manager will work closely with the client and oversee the planning, design, and construction of a building from its beginning to its end. Because they control a project’s cost and quality, it's essential they are made aware of the benefits offered by automation. When an automated building is more secure, more energy efficient, and cheaper to run than a traditional building, automation becomes the logical choice.”

Great job En-Tech, we look forward to seeing many more Egyptian HDL installations in the future.
