Hello,

I apologize for not having posted for several months. I have been preoccupied with other work and study. I hope to start on some new fiber projects after the New Year and look forward to sharing them with you all!

Please be advised that Hamptons Yarn is no longer accepting spin-for-fiber commissions (processing and spinning a certain amount of raw fiber in exchange for keeping a portion of the raw fiber as compensation). The amount of time and effort put into such commissions is not nearly worth the compensation received.

Have a great Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Much Love,
Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a spinner, knitter and crochetier on the east end of Long Island, New York! I'm becoming more active on Google+ and am so happy to have found this group! Here are some photos of recently finished skeins.

I own and operate Hamptons Yarn, and I pride myself on that fact that all of my yarn is made entirely from scratch. Fussy? Time consuming? You bet, but the result is yarn of a much higher quality than when spun from commercially prepped fiber. www.hamptonsyarn.com

Being a crochetier and knitter for over 7 years, needlework inspired me to design and spin my own yarn. I use high-quality fibers and love to display fiber in its natural colors. Most of my hand dyed yarns have been dyed with plants. Everything is all-natural, with no added plastics, chemicals, or processed heat.

I will take some time to build up my Google+ portfolio, but I would really appreciate a Follow on my page www.google.com/+HamptonsYarn - this is not for commercial purposes but to share my love of spinning with fellow fiber freaks.
