We're looking for a technical writer and a structural engineer/programmer at Design Data in #LNK. Some details are at:
http://sds2.com/company/about#Careers

Ping me if you're seriously interested & want more info.

For future reference, I will forever regret hiring Mark's Plumbing in Lincoln to bury the new pipe to my barn. They're difficult to schedule, difficult to work with, don't care much about customer service, and didn't do the entire job that they promised to do. Run away!

This is the first time lapse I shot with my new Xiaomi Yi action camera. It was pointed off my back deck as a storm rolled through on Friday night. Images were taken every 5 seconds and played back at 10 fps, for a 50x speed-up. The color balance is all over the place; I hope that's due to the lightning & clouds, and won't be a problem when shooting in normal conditions.

We took our new Xiaomi Yi (GoPro wannabe) action camera to the Lancaster County Fair with us today and let the kids wear it on some of the rides.  Here's my daughter wearing it on the "Super Shot" ride with my son next to her.  Simon really wanted to go on this ride, despite our cautions.  He ended up being terribly frightened when the bottom dropped out from under him.  He did recover, though, and had a great day.

I'm pretty happy with the image quality of this little camera.

This bike was stolen from 14th & Old Cheney early this morning. Click the link for photos of the perps in their maroon F150. The lookout is a white female 20-30 yrs old, 5'4", 170 lbs. Thief was a white male, small frame, dark hair.

Please call the Lincoln Police Dept, Officer Joe Yindrick, case #B6-062737 if you have any info.

The l900 60.1 RELEASE from 160629 has been running alright for a few days now on my Sprint Galaxy Note 2... except that it randomly reboots a half dozen times per day. Sometimes when I'm in the middle of a phone call, sometimes when I'm running other apps, and many times when the screen is locked & nothing at all is happening. Getting cut off in the middle of a phone call is REALLY annoying.

Are there any logs or other info that I can send to developers to help them track down what's causing this?

I've tried all four l900 releases, and although the 160525 release seemed to be more stable than the others, they've all rebooted more frequently than I'd expect.

Has anybody seen any problems with the latest 160629 RELEASE for SPH-L900 6.0.1 that came out yesterday? I've been plagued with "Google Play Services has stopped" messages since the 160623 RELEASE. I backed off to teh 160525 RELEASE, but the problems didn't go away. I've tried several versions of opengapps with these releases.

Does the 160629 RELEASE (with a fresh opengapps) fix these problems?
