Back 13 Feb 2014 on python | python3 | docker. Create a Python 3 environment using Docker. Rather than creating a virtualenv for Python 3, we'll create a Python 3 environment using Docker. With Docker, you'll be able to use a dedicated container just for your program, and install what you want ...

The first version of Google, Facebook, YouTube and more (and what they can teach us about starting small) - #startup
the best things we know and love started as tiny things. — Joel Gascoigne Our CEO, Joel, wrote a post a couple of years ago about the importance of starting small with new projects. He makes some great points about how easy it is to see the finished product of someone else’s hard work and [...]

There is no Such Thing as Biomedical "Big Data" - #bigData #conceptRant
At the moment, the world is obsessed with “Big Data” yet it sometimes seems that people who use this phrase don’t have a good grasp of its meaning.  Like most good buzz-words, “Big Data” sparks the idea of something grand and complicated, while sounding ordinary enough that listeners feel like they have an intuitive understanding of the concept.  However "Big Data" actually carries a specific technical meaning which is getting lost as the term b...

Amazing sushi and nice presentation for reasonable prices. The place has a very cool vibe/decor and the service is very friendly. My favourite sushi place in town so far. There are other asian dishes in the menu as well.

Extremely cheap museum. Costs 4 euros for adults. The architecture is majestic and a masterpiece per se. Also, the staff was incredibly welcoming and supportive. Never met such dedicated fellows in a museum before. Finally, you can find an enigma machine there, so you don't even have to think twice.

Costs about 18 euros, which is very expensive when in comparison with other Berlin museums. The exhibition is average and I certainly would not recommend it. Try other museums in Berlin. The German Museum of Technology, the DDR museum and the ones in the Museum Island, for instance, are way better.
