According to Psalm 25:3b - No one who hopes in the Lord will ever be put to shame.
The Bible teaches us in many places and with many different illustrations that God will be faithful to those who faithfully hope in Him. But sometimes it's difficult to have hope.
That's why that verse is so important for disciples. We need to know that God will not forget us. He will not allow us to be shamed for hoping in Him. When we put our hope in God, we will be victorious.
This should give us tremendous confidence. Disciples should not be afraid to hope. We should hope boldly because we know that God is real, and our hope in Him is real.
Philippians 4:13 Be strong, you have the strength to withstand any difficulty or prosperity in this material world. You have the strength through Him who gives strength - Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. God puts power into those who are believers of His Son Jesus Christ. He infuses them with His strength to sustain them until they receive some provision.
Abandonment, sorrow, struggle & pain are all transitory. Wholeness, healing, joy and peace are all permanent, for they are part of the very nature of God. That is what sustains "true disciples" of Christ through difficult times.
