Very accommodating no microwave in the room but they will heat it for you at the front desk. Very good neighborhood, lotta gay but still nice clean room hot water and very comfortable bed. I'll go back

I was charged a no show fee for a trip that I believed I had cancelled with Orbitz. Additionally, the confirmation from Orbitz indicated I would be charged a 7.6% tax for a cancel fee but I was actually assessed a tax above 15% for the no show fee from the hotel. My problem with the hotel is the slow response to my request for a full or partial refund of the no show fee. I first called the hotel on June 12 and was told the manager would call me back the following day. When I did not receive a call, I called the hotel on June 13 and was told the manager was on vacation. I received a call from the manager on June 17 who advised that he would look into the situation. I didn't hear from the manager on June 18 so I left a message on June 19. I didn't get a response from the message and left another message on June 20. I finally received a response from the manager on June 24 indicating the no part of the cancellation fee would be refunded. It's a mystery to me why this process took two weeks for a response from the manager. This is my first negative review of any establishment. I would not recommend the hotel based on their handling of this situation.

The inn is a small hotel, in a very nice part of Philly. It is close to the convention center, so it was convenient for my needs ( a six block walk). The room was very clean and served my needs, as I was only in the room to sleep. The room was SMALL but adequate. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you want a nice clean place to stay in a convenient part of town, with a helpful and knowledgeable staff I would definitely consider the Alexander Inn.

Loved our stay here. Our room was sunny, nicely decorated and clean. The staff was super friendly and it was the best price I could find anywhere in the area. Recommend it for sure!

This was my first time to Philadelphia and this hotel was perfect. I loved the art on the walls and the coziness of the room. It was immaculate and the staff was outstanding. The breakfast was great and the coffee was delicious. David, at the front desk, is very informative and attentive. Can't wait to return with my husband to stay here and explore Philadelphia.

Nice little hotel in a great part of Philly, you get a great value while still being able to stay in the city. The staff were very nice during my stay, and I felt very comfortable in my room. The hotel is next to quite a few theaters and was about a ten minute walk to the Reading Terminal Market, so there is plenty to do nearby. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Philadelphia. I know this is going to be my first choice for a hotel next time I'm visiting the city.

This cute little hotel is nestled just a short walk around the block(ish) to the Academy of Music and the Kimmel Center. Perfect spot if you’re in for the night for an event and want quick and easy access to both the event and to either public transit or to be able to make your way easily back to the 30th Street Station. They have a complimentary continental breakfast, and light snacks are out and free in the lobby area 24/7. The staff was so hospitable, greeting us every time we entered and exited. It’s quaint enough that you anticipate having to use the stairs to get to the 7th floor room they just give you but modern enough that you learn they do have an elevator. For around $100 for the night, this place is my new go-to hotel in Philly.
