I would love to give negative stars but that isn't possible unfortunately. We went to this dealership to buy the new Colorado. They had one in stock, it wasn't the one we wanted but I thought we should do a test drive. We showed up for an appointment, met the salesman Josh, and outlined to him our budget and what we wanted. Then we headed out for the test drive. Hubby fell in love and wanted to buy that truck then and there. He told Josh to bring his best numbers. Josh didn't do that so hubby said it was out of the budget and again told him what we were looking for. Josh spent the next 15 minutes trying to force that truck on us and I do mean force. Then he disappears into the glass room and comes back with the actual best numbers. Too late now as the pressure he was trying to apply and the bull crap he kept spewing was making hubby angry. He said no and again asked about the truck and specs he wanted. Josh again tried the hard sell for about 10 minutes, ignoring hubby's no. So I stepped in and said no very loudly. He quickly went to the glass room again. When he returned he showed the spec sheet of a truck that almost met our specs and said they could bring it from another lot if it was available but they wouldn't know until the morning. We said that was fine and give us the numbers for that truck. He did the same dance for this truck as the first but finally we were able to get the info we wanted. Josh said they would find out in the morning if the truck was available and let us know. We said great. He went to the glass room again and came back with the spec sheet again. Then he leaned forward and said "If we bring this truck here, it is your truck. Do you understand?". Excuse me?!? He was demanding we fill out the paperwork and buy that truck right then sight unseen and what happened to the 'we have to check if it's still available bullshit?. We walked out. I am not sure about you but I do not appreciate being told I will spend my money on something I have never seen or driven. In addition, the hard sell for both vehicles did not sit well with us and the fact he would not leave any paper within our grasp if he left the desk was hinky. So we could not keep the spec sheet while he went for prices and could not keep the prices if he went for a spec sheet. Seems very fishy to me. Either way we will NOT shop at any Rick Hendrick and especially not this one ever. Pressure sales, domination tactics, bait and switch, unable to answer questions about the vehicle specs or answer questions on the financing/pricing, coupled with the weird crap with the papers and the glass room = stay far far away.
