Both of my last two clients with marijuana DUI charges in Jefferson County had their charges reduced to a plea to reckless driving. In both instances, their active THC / blood test results were greater than 5 nanograms. However, in both cases the evidence related to impairment was questionable, and in both cases we had district attorneys that were reasonable.

In Colorado, Harassment could be thought of as Assault without the injury. Several different types of acts can be charged as Harassment, however, the most common basis for a Harassment charge is the allegation that the accused "striked, shoved, or kicked" the alleged victim. If the same facts caused injury, then it would be charged as Assault. The injury that is required to elevate Harassment to Assault can be mere pain. Any mark caused by the event will constitute injury. Please visit http://www.denvercriminalattorney.com/criminal_charges/harassment.html for further information.

Kevin Churchill has outlined the Colorado criminal court process in order to answer questions frequently raised by clients. A criminal case follows a progression of different court appearances which lead to a resolution of the case, either through a dismissal, a plea agreement, or a jury trial. Unless the case is dismissed, or a deferred judgment is granted, the final event in a criminal case will be sentencing. My family hired Attorney Cheryl Tannenberg to handle an estate dispute that arose when my father passed away in 2015. I found Ms. Tannenberg to be a highly skilled attorney that very effectively and diligently represented our interests throughout the case. We chose her as our attorney because of her extensive experience in estate law, as well as her extensive experience as a trial attorney. Though our case did not go to trial, I felt very confident at all times that we had a very skilled advocate should trial have happened – and we had been told the same by other California attorneys during the process. Ms. Tannenberg knows California estate law inside and out. She was able to advise us regarding the strengths and weaknesses of our case, based on how the facts and evidence of our case fit into the complicated landscape of California laws. She was always available, and in the rare instances she wasn’t, she would return calls promptly. As an attorney myself, I am all too aware of how there are both very good and very bad attorneys out there. When I became a client of Ms. Tannenberg’s, I very much appreciated that I had found one of the good ones. As I sometimes tell people, when you hire an attorney, you are not just hiring a legal robot. You are hiring a person that either does or does not really dig in - and really take your case results to heart. I found Ms. Tannenberg to very personable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She is a very good communicator that also has the life experience to be intuitive about all of the social dynamics that were involved in the facts of our case – as though she could easily picture everything that had happened surrounding my father’s passing and his estate planning. Needless to say, my family really appreciated her personally invested representation. Thank you Ms. Tannenberg!

I had a great experience buying my Honda here. The sales man "Des" was fun to work with, and very likable. The only criticism would be that every time I visit the service department, there are long delays to get into the garage, even if I have an appointment. It seems that the service department is over capacity all the time. I would definitely buy a car here though. However, since Honda has now discontinued the Crosstour, it looks like I will no longer be a Honda customer. I need a 6 cylinder, all-wheel-drive wagon. The Crosstour was perfect. Without it, Honda does not make a vehicle to meet my needs. Bummer. I am not sure why Honda doesn't even make an all-wheel-drive car anymore. Hard to understand why anyone living in Colorado would want a front-wheel drive only car. Again, bummer.

I am an attorney in Denver that has worked along side Vernon. In my opinion, when you hire an attorney, it's important to remember that you are hiring a person, not just a legal technician. That said, Vernon's abilities as an attorney come from the fact that he is a good person who cares about others, and therefore cares about his client's lives - and understands the implications that their' cases have in their lives. I have personally witnessed his perserverance and dedication to his practice and his clients, and have seen him work tirelessly for results. If I ever need a family attorney, Vernon will be my first phone call.

Home Depot stands behind their deliveries. I ordered a generator online that showed up damaged. Home Depot agreed to replace the unit. I appreciate it.

Michael Dwan is a motivated and conscientious defense attorney that exerts a lot of effort to make sure his clients' cases are analyzed and developed to their full potential before they are resolved. He is knowledgable about the law, and has excellent people skills - a must for any defense attorney. I was very appreciative of the time he took to explain the nuances of New York law to me. He is easy to talk to, and clearly cared about giving me accurate advice. I will certainly recommend his services to my brother in New York State should the need arise. Thanks again Michael.
