Careful with those photo privacy settings. If, like me, you don't particularly want people tagging you in photos with no warning, check the bottom of your Google + Settings. By default anyone in one of your circles can tag you.

Given the number of erudite, imaginative and insightful postings that I come across on Google + should I really post a link for no other reason that its results made me laugh immoderately?

Oh yes.

Trello - FogCreek's new free Web-based project management doodad looks really rather splendid, looking forward to trying it out in anger. It's rather picky about which browsers it supports though, which means when I try to link to it here, this happens:
Trello is a network for sharing and managing workflows. In one glance, a Trello board tells you what's being worked on, who's working on what, and how close they are to being done.

Yes, its nice, simple and does the job. I live the attention to detail - the alert system, for example will set you an e-mail if you're (say) assigned a card - but it will wait 24 hours and only send the e-mail if you haven't logged in and seen the card.

Interesting experiment: Google alerting of Malware on your PC when you search
Matt Cutts originally shared:

This is important: Google has been able to detect a large number of computers infected with a specific piece of malware. If you go to Google and do a search (any word will do) right now, check to see whether you get a "Your computer appears to be infected" warning at the top of the search results. If you see the message, you need to clean up the infection from your machine.

We're trying this as an experiment to alert and protect consumers that we believe have infected machines. Please share this widely.

Added: This is malware that's specific to Windows. Remember to do an actual search (any search will do) and check the top of the search results page; don't just go to the home page.

Top-notch service, when I broke my specs and needed the frame replaced in a hurry.

I had an iPhone 3GS with a broken screen and home button. I walked in, they fixed both for £30 within 15 minutes and I walked out. Fast, efficient, friendly and very good value - and they didn't even laugh at me for having an old 3GS. Recommended.

Very helpful, good value. Managed to pretty much match an old piece of glass from my house and cut it to size in a couple of minutes. Recommended.
