Come to Coniston this autumn and take in the thrills and spills of Power Boat Records week.

Competitors and officials will travel from all over the world to gather in the beautiful Lakeland village of Coniston to witness the exhilarating Power Boat Records Week (30th October - 3rd November 2017), on waters once graced by eminent record-breakers such as Malcolm and his son Donald Campbell.

Coniston Water Shoreline Hugger - 15th October

A gentle ride from Coniston Boating Centre along the delightful lake shore cycle path. The ride is ideal for families and those who wish to give cycling a go without the hassle of traffic. There is no minimum age but under five’s should be in a child seat or trailer. Bike hire is available from the Boating Centre, Tel 015394 41366. The ride is hosted by British Cycling in partnership with the Lake District National Park.
