A very interesting article. It provided some answers to a couple of questions I had about the e-book industry.

They mention H. R. Giger. I wonder if Larry or Sergey would be willing to pay him enough to get a cover for your next book.

Three new novels published this month.

The art for the Trilisk series was created by Howard Lyon.

The art for "Archon Than" and "The Flutes of Aeran" is by Lindsey Look.

All of these and more at Squidlord:

Took two years, but I'm glad to have reached 100 reviews for Trilisk Ruins at Amazon. 3.9 out of 5 stars average. It also has 193 reviews on Goodreads with a 3.51 average. Thanks to the 25,000 who purchased it, and thanks to all who reviewed it.

No doubt the amazing cover by Howard Lyon has served it well.

Today passing my 50,000th sale. My latest PIT book, The Trilisk Hunt, is in the top ten in Science Fiction --> Space Exploration category at the US kindle store, and top ten in three categories in Amazon UK.

Big thanks to all my fans, I'm so glad I got to write these books and sell them. I also hope at least one young person out there has been inspired to achieve great things in their life like being an astrophysicist, space explorer, or even just a novelist :)

Though I am bragging today, and celebrating, I guess I will take this opportunity to remind my readers that characters in my books are often blown up, eaten, or exsanguinated.

One of the things that started me out:

Runner up for Editor's Choice by Del Rey Online Writing Workshop editorial staff in March 1999.

Runner Up, fantasy chapter/partial chapter: SLAVE OF CHU KUTALL by Mike McCloskey

"Some of this is sloppy, especially when the narrative strays from
Nergal's point of view (as in the line, "What Nergal did next was
especially clever for one of his ilk.").  Still, Nergal the half-orc
is an inspired choice for an anti-hero--or a bumbling (if rather
bloodthirsty) hero.  The game of Dungeons & Dragons came up quite a
bit as we discussed SLAVE.  It's true that this entire episode could
have come out of a million D&D games, but that's just what makes it so refreshing--everybody knows it's more fun to play a Nergal in those
games.  Yet for some reason, the Nergals never get written about.  Mr.
McCloskey has remedied that oversight, and we thank him for it!"
