If you're not TRYING to learn immersion doesn't help - but if you ARE it definitely helps.

He goes on to contradict himself in the first 3 points. You are way more likely to subconsciously take language in - if you are immersed. The example of the girl going to Brazil was immersed (why not have an example of her going back to Australia and being immersed).

On a Chinese train - he is immersed!

Sure his point is immersion != comprehension but he is confusing the message. Immersion helps comprehension a vast amount, all else being equal.

Fat - is self inflicted - and therefore fair game aimed against women AND men. I think this because I am a feminist.

We do not need role models - high politicians and the wife of the president - normalising obesity. Being fat is a very bad thing - and should be ridiculed and criticised at every turn.

If we want me and women to be truly equal - they must be treated the same, not covered in cotton wool. Yes men should open doors for women - and women should open doors for men.

The premise is way funnier than the execution.

These people just aren't funny at all.

"Why did you get the guy who created the zune to make your website.". Hilarious - a master stroke by all involved.

This is called finding out the truth - then contorting something existing into that truth, rather than rejecting it.

Science is about truth. Religion, clearly, was made up by man, and isn't true. We know this because there's vast amounts of evidence disproving religion - and none proving it.

The earth for example - is millions of years old - there is overwhelming geological evidence for this. Yet various religions place it at a few thousand years. How can the word of 'god' be wrong?

A scientific theory is based on observable evidence. It is based on a hypothesis - then actively trying to disprove that hypothesis.

Religion is based on zero evidence. Religion starts with 'truth' - that was found in a book written by people who thought the world was flat and didn't know what soap was. You then have to work back from the 'truth' - but can never question it - it requires 'faith'.

Not only is this irrational and stupid - it is extremely dangerous, because each religion says 'my religion is the right one - my suicide will take me to heaven' - we have no basis for knowing which religion is 'correct'.

This is because they are all fantasies created by man, and none of them can be proved because they are ridiculous.

Religion is the greatest existential threat to mankind today. It's time we moved on from this medieval (and pre-medieval) superstition before it's too late. Thankfully, you see a clear correlation between atheism and education level. As the world becomes more educated - it becomes more atheist. An unstoppable trend.

THE INITIAL SO. A presentation shouldn't begin with 'so'.

To criticise free trade is to misunderstand it. Free trade everywhere. In the long term it is better. It is basic logic.

More imports for Korea means US individuals and businesses can get cheaper, higher quality products and services from Korea than they can from US companies. This in turn benefits those companies and makes them better globally - which leads to a fitter, better US economy.

Protectionism - DOESNT WORK - it is communist level thinking. Get a clue. It disadvantages everyone.

Also, with free trade wages and standards harmonise. We are seeing this in China already with huge pay increases and a shift of manufacturing back to the west. Free trade works - and to be against it harms the poor the most - globally.

Bill O'Reilly works for the Democrats in order to make Republicans look stupid. Everyone knows this - and here is proof. The whole thing is rigged, no one is this dumb / humourless.

Nice. Also watch out for the 'initial so' that these geeks just can't help do.
