❗ ❗ DC COMMENCEMENT UPDATE AS OF 9/12 at 7:00 p.m. ET:
We are still planning to hold our master's and bachelor's commencement ceremonies at the DAR Constitution Hall.
➡️ The master’s ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. as originally planned.
➡️ The bachelor’s ceremony will begin at 1:15 p.m. as originally planned.

If you’ve re-confirmed your RSVP, thank you. Based on your responses, we will continue with the two ceremonies as originally planned.
If you are unable to attend the Commencement in Washington, D.C. this weekend, please know that you are welcome to attend our next Commencement in Indianapolis on November 3.

We will continue to closely monitor the storm as we finalize preparations for Commencement Weekend, and we will provide updates if needed. As always, our first concern, of course, is for our students, graduates, guests, and employees who are in the direct line of the storm. Please stay safe.

‼️ HURRICANE UPDATE: We are closely monitoring the path of Hurricane Florence as we finalize preparations for Commencement Weekend. Our first concern, of course, is for our students, graduates, guests, and employees who are in the direct line of the storm.

We are still planning to hold our master's and bachelor's commencement ceremonies at the DAR Constitution Hall. To help us plan accordingly, we’re asking all graduates to re-confirm their RSVP here http://bit.ly/2Qqyhbm by 6:00 p.m. ET today, September 12. If there is a significant reduction in graduate RSVPs, we will consider combining the master’s and bachelor’s ceremonies into one morning event. We will make this decision tomorrow morning, September 13. Please check back for updates.

If you are unable to attend the Commencement in Washington, D.C. this weekend, please know that you are welcome to attend our next Commencement in Indianapolis on November 3.

‼️Hurricane Update:
We are closely monitoring the hurricane warnings for both the Atlantic Coast (Hurricane Florence) and Hawaii (Tropical Storm Olivia). Mandatory evacuations are now underway for coastal areas of North and South Carolina and Virginia, where the Category 4 Hurricane Florence is expected to make landfall on Thursday. If you are personally impacted by one of these or other natural disasters, please let us know! Students, please let your program mentor know if you are experiencing problems of any sort that make it difficult for you to complete your course work due to displacement or environmental barriers. Help is available. WGU Resource information is also available in the Student Handbook ➡️ Natural Disasters and Major Events. https://bit.ly/2oYt9yD
