Lettings and Sales Negotiator

If you’re keen to start your career in London’s property industry, then now is the time to join our growing business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive person to help us as we grow the business. You’ll be assisting with the letting and management of our existing properties, new instructions as well as some sales. This is fantastic opportunity for somebody who is keen to learn and to develop some great skills. We will even put you through your NFoPP- the more you develop, the more we do too.

What we need from you

We are looking for someone with heaps of personality, personal drive and superb organisational and communication skills. We need a presentable and outgoing character who is able to work under pressure whilst inspiring trust and confidence in both clients and colleagues.

About Us

Brunsfield is a growing property management business based in Marylebone. We specialise in block & commercial property management as well as residential lettings and sales. We act on behalf of a broad range of clients, based both in the UK and internationally and have established relationships with developers and wealthy investors, providing a good pipeline of stock and business growth opportunities.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for the viewing of properties to let and for sale. You will negotiate between all parties in order to achieve a successful outcome.

• Organising and conducting viewings
• Dealing with enquiries
• Negotiating offers under Line Manager’s direction
• Assisting with the tenant referencing process
• Arranging for the completion of the relevant paperwork
• Processing payments (deposits and rents)
• Co-ordinating move-ins
• Updating landlords and tenants as directed
• Conducting property inspections when required
• Selling all company services strongly and ethically
• Conducting market appraisals
• Keeping records of all activities on CRM system (Jupix)
• Any other duties as deemed necessary to assist the team

• Strong communication skills
• Natural sales ability
• Self-motivation and organisational skills
• Focus and a competitive nature

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, regulations and procedures and best practice related to residential lettings
• Lettings experience within an established agency
• Experience with JUPIX software an advantage
• Some property management experience would also be helpful

• 9am- 5.30pm Monday- Friday
• Flexibility required to conduct some evening and weekend viewings

The role will be based in our Marylebone office although you will also be required to regularly visit the units under management, all of which are based in London.

Salary & Benefits
• OTE £35-£40,000
• £17-£18,000 basic dependent on experience
• Company phone
• We are willing to pay for relevant training including training towards full ARLA membership.

Hunt’s Paper Factory – A building with a story to tell

Hunt’s Paper Factory in idyllic Fulham has been managed by Brunsfield since its completion last year. The buildings, centered around a landscaped courtyard, are tucked away from the sophisticated hustle and bustle of London’s Fulham. With 34 warehouse style apartments, this development is unlike any other that we manage.

In the early 1900s, an entrepreneurial couple started their family business on these grounds, creating paper bags for local establishments. The development brochure is humbly reminiscent of said bags, though you’d imagine the designers would want to shout from the rooftops about this one. Each apartment is an individual conception working around the unique features of the factory. There are beams running across the ceilings, exposed original brickwork and layouts so original, it is miraculous that the mastermindingly crafted apartments were achieved in good time. Pair this with the geometric features and Scandinavian styling, this development is as hygge as hygge gets.

Walking through the common parts you will be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported into an industrial oasis, an experimental home-living version of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Soft lighting glosses over the trees that reach upwards to pathways leading to the illuminated doors. There’s even a cemetary behind Hunt’s Paper Factory which somehow adds to the charming calm of the area.

But, all these inventive features come with their own management issues, which we at +Brunsfield feel fortunate to take on. Upon completion, we had the pleasure of meeting the leaseholders and tenants at the introductory drinks, allowing us to put faces to names. This makes managing the development much more personal.
