Anyone else feel like Apple has a fundamental organization issue with its iCloud Drive design? Everything is organized by app folders, but people organize their files in project / topics folders...not just by file type. Imagine a project folder where you have a mix of Word, PPT, and Excel files. To sync those on iCloud such that Keynote, Pages, and Numbers pick them up on your iOS devices, you'd have to split your project files into their respective app folders, destroying the existing folder structure. Why can't iCloud Drive just work like Dropbox or every other cloud sync program?? This is a big issue in my mind...

Great points, guys - but I'm left feeling like we shouldn't let Apple off the hook by saying that it's fine that they're not better b/c we have Dropbox already...it would be nice to have something better than Dropbox!  We should strive for perfection.

And Robert -- interesting that you bring up OneDrive.  I've been testing out all of the major cloud services, and I've come full-circle to believing OneDrive really is the best option out there right now.  It's a great value, the Office apps for iPad/iPhone actually offer a pretty compelling edit-in-the-cloud capability, and overall I just really like the simplicity of being able to merge cloud storage with true productivity access.  That's just not something Dropbox or Box can compete on right now, and Apple can't compete on organization.  And Google Drive messes with file formats (let's face it, the world still runs on Office files).  So OneDrive it is for now.  Apple should be able to beat Microsoft in the cloud, but I don't think they're there just yet.

The nice thing is, no incentive to switch to Android...I can still have my cake and eat it too...the other benefits of Apple, plus MSFT upping their game in terms of iOS offerings.

Side note: the new OneNote app in iOS 8 is great -- fixes a major capability gap in that now you can post full articles from Safari directly into OneNote!  This will be a daily feature for me...

Soooo much better than the other fast food junk in Soldotna. The lady working the place was very friendly and the food was delicious. They have ready-made sandwiches and desserts, snacks, fresh fruit, etc so it's perfect for a quick lunch on the go. Prices were fair for the quality, and we're glad we made the stop!
