30 Simple Ways to Improve Yourself Today (#Infographic)

This was supposed to be a year of big change for me. I was going to start working out more, eating better, being more social, working more efficiently. Discipline was a big one for me – focusing on working when I needed to be working and relaxing when I wasn’t.

And here we are at the end of January and none of that’s happened. Big aspirations for sure, but the follow-through… not so much.

I made the same mistake that I always do. I used a decisive moment (the beginning of a new year) to make all the major (yet overly ambitious) changes in my life. It’s happened before – I’m hoping it doesn’t happen again.

That’s why I forced myself to write this article and put this graphic together. I needed to do some personal research on how to make changes in my life. I needed to better understand how to improve myself and how to move forward.

It was pretty early on that I realized one of my big flaws; I always overcommit. I’m too ambitious. I think too big, especially when it comes to personal goals. I need to pull things back a bit – focus less on big things and more on little things.

That’s where the list below comes from. This was a way for me to figure out how I can better myself a few minutes at a time. Nothing huge, nothing monumental and nothing over-the-top.
