Up your chicken game. These Swiss chicken rolls will become a fave in your house, my clients request them often!
✔️ Flatten out chicken breast, season with a little salt, pepper, onion granules and garlic powder.
✔️Mix equal parts Dijon mustard and honey, spread over chicken.
✔️Place a thin slice (or shredded) Swiss cheese and a thin slice of nitrate-free smoked ham in the center of the breast.
✔️Roll up and secure with a toothpick.
✔️Sear on medium-high heat on all sides until golden brown, lower the heat to low and finish cooking. (If you need to use a meat thermometer and take off when the center reaches 165 degrees.) Let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve it up!
✔️Bonus #1: There will likely be some amazing pan juices left that you definitely need to drizzle over the top or sop up with some potato/bread/or just slurp it down.
✔️Bonus #2: make extra because the next day you can slice it super thin and layer on a sandwich with a little sliced pickle and toast it up for a super easy Cubano-inspired sandwich/panini.
