I totally agree with +Dan Ackerman on this one. When it comes to laptops, the specs really don't matter. You shouldn't be playing games on it in the first place, and unless you're a highly mobile professional, it's not like you're going to be doing animation or video editing on it either. Personally, for me, what I care most about is size: how small is it physically? 11" and under. If I can grab something now that's that size and works (and hey, maybe even has an SSD), I'm game. What would I need Ivy Bridge for? I'll wait to upgrade my desktop for that, which is a totally different matter.
