Hainburg an der Donau, Austria, river Danube (January 5-6, 2013).
High water warning arrived at my doorstep (in the hands of two voluntary firemen) at around 3pm on Jan 5. Prognonsis was 700cm (at station Thebnerstrassl) in next 24-32 hours. Didn't turn out quite that bad, as of 4pm today the level is 658cm and only rising by less than 2cm per hour, prognosis has been adjusted to max. 675cm at midnight tonight.
It's been raining all day, but I had to take a short walk anyway to check the situation... :-)
Here are the photos, three sets, from Jan 5 around 4pm and shortly before 11pm, and from today around 4pm.
