My next stream (https://www.twitch.tv/peregrinekiwi) will be focused directly on The Sprawl and design. I have a short list of ideas, but I'll soliciting more. What would be useful and or interesting?

Games on Demand does a great job of giving people a brief snapshot of a wide variety of games. As a designer, its a great way to get your game in front of a lot of people. As a player, its a great way to see if the new hotness everyone is talking about is your bag. As a GM, its exhausting. Lots of fun though!

Prepare your datajack for a driveload of global cyberculture, friend.

Remix your mind and your DNA with the transhumanists of Tangaroa. Screen yourself from the UV, the corps, and the nanobots in Aotearoa. Swim through the stifling oppression of law and history in the capital of the European Federation.

Resist the corporate boot crushing the last bastion of North American freedom. Blow over the agri-prison baseline and the voodoo hooks of the Big Easy. Slink out of the lab and into the streets with keen eyes, sharp claws, and a vengeful mind.

Circle with the sharks of the Global Giant of Africa: smell the fire in their spirits and the spirits in the fibres. Dance from terrace to tower in the Paris moonlight, rapier in hand, honour in mind. Take down the fat cats and the dirty dogs with anthropomorphic abandon.

Play in the Caribbean sand or slog through the Florida swamp at the nexus of terrestrial and orbital borders. Fight your way free from the bleeding edge of militarised capitalism at the fractured terminus of a new Korean cold war. Kick against the current in SoCal’s melting pot of simsense dreams, global commerce, and covert water wars.

Twelve new ways to experience The Sprawl. Are you ready for the November Metric?

I'm sharing this to let you all know that I've started a Twitch stream (https://www.twitch.tv/peregrinekiwi) which will initially be mostly content related to The Sprawl. It will be irregular, probably announced on Twitter, and I'll be uploading it to YouTube afterwards (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiOyj21bqvLPgrngqnyJPGg).

This episode was mostly just a test run to try my hand at streaming and the various technical things I'll need to keep an eye on for future streams; the signal to noise ratio is low! In the future, I want to use this format to answer questions and have discussions with people via the chat interface, but I'll happily take questions in advance. It's an experiment; we'll see where it goes. Comments and suggestions welcome, as always!

Also, Dana and I made a lot of progress on art and layout for the next supplement today. More news on that soon!

"Some borders are physical and undeniable, like a mighty river..."

Right. So I guess my game will be about how rivers aren't really borders.

With citations.

If you haven't heard about this year's BBC Kickstarter yet, check it out now, before it closes!
We're in the last 24 hour stretch for Big Bad Con. After each campaign there are invariably folks who find out about the awesome rewards just after it closes and wish they knew about it sooner. So as a public service I present six reasons to click that button now.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1157274964/big-bad-con-2017

Three reasons you'll feel awesome for backing the con:

* Our teen track and outreach program, bringing great games to kids 13 and up!
* Our special guests +Laura Simpson, +Dev Purkayastha, +Alex Roberts, +Kathryn Hymes, +Hakan Seyalioglu, +Tora Shae Pruden, +Misha B, +J Li, +Tracy Barnett, +Jason Morningstar, +Nadja Otikor, and +Jared Sorensen, who will all be there running great games... maybe with you.
* Our scholarship program that helps financially challenged women, people of color, disabled, and lgbtqia+ individuals attend the con.

Three reasons you'll kick yourself later if you don't back during the Kickstarter. Get it? Kick yourself... okay, I'm terrible. But still, you'll be sad if you miss out on these:

* Little Red's baskets. Seriously +Brian Vo, Sarah Troedson, Jeremy Kostiew, and +Govneh Sullivan will be making the most amazing treats... that can be delivered right to your game! In the words of Mary Berry, they are scrummy!
* Paw Prints. A badge, a basket, and a whole lot of signed book love. +luke crane, +Eric Vogel, +John Harper, and +Pamela Alexander are all lending their signatures (and games!) to make this awesome package possible.
* Baba Yaga's gift boxes. Hand assembled by +Divine Cheshire, these boxes will have original art, cool crafts, and other gems (perhaps actual gems) included. Last year's recipients loved their packages. This year, Ash has gone above and beyond to make sure we get more custom crafted goodies. Contributors include +Sophie Lagace, +Jason Morningstar, +Divine Cheshire, Atomic Pixies, Jenny Haines, +Jackson Tegu, Robert Bowen, Jen Massie, Jason Van Glass, and Jen Rowan!

Big Bad is full of awesome people who love to play games. Come join us!

The Sprawl in the wild. I'm looking forward to listening some play from The Critical Twits!
UK tabletop podcast The Critical Twits have a lot of nice things to say about The Sprawl (starting at 47min)! And its such good company, with discussion of The Quiet Year, Fiasco, Paranoia, and Goblin Quest before that.

"I've never seen my players act so badass."
