install ubuntu tweak and that's allMar 8, 2015
6 months earlier I have sent a mail to CCleaner team to provide same for Linux world specially for Ubuntu and I am happy to know somebody is initiating. Thank you and let it be as successful as like in Windows.
Please add old kernel removing, cache and temporary file cleaning and performance boost like things. Although there is bleach bit but I don't trust it very much, make CCleaner as popular and stable like that in Windows world.
Best wishesMar 9, 2015
+Horvath Lucien-Henry because it is a port of CCleaner, and I want us to have one app well made just for that purpose (ubuntu-tweak is a stew of thing).
+0net user No, bleachbit is very ugly to use ... should be simpler and a cleaner interface.
-- I'm using Vala, GTK + and Granite including novelties and has supports a multitude of distros.
+Mohan Ram Yes, browsers, email and kernel had them in mind ... Unity not. Scheduled to add that feature. Thank You!
+Hocine Bahloul yep!
+AURO KUMAR SAHOO Also send them an email to the guys at Piriform to make a version of CCleaner for Linux, as I see that are very lazy to do it ... I decided to do it myself :) Thanks for your support, I am proud to see people who understand which is my point. hug dear.Mar 9, 2015
Cool, often times when do a clean install of Ubuntu on various hardware, I keep my /home on separate partition, so by adding an option to wipe Unity settings would great. Of course taking into account of giving warning messages that the user is about to toast the setting. :)Mar 9, 2015
