Edwards Apple Orchard is the best! They make the best hot apple cider donuts in the state. We love all the samples in the Apple Barn. Our family and extended family have been going there for over 20 years. Everyone at Edwards is friendly and helpful. If you haven't there you are missing out on a great family outing. So what are you waiting for? Pack up the family and head out there right away!

Edwards orchard is my favorite family place to visit for fall. From candles to children's books, scarfs, fudge, and apple pie with a slice of cheddar cheese on top, there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Browse and get out of the cold! Feel the warm vanilla autumn festivities under the canopy of a barn, folk music for your soul, and spiced cider warming in your hands.

I have lived in the area for nearly 2 decades, and EVERYONE LOVES Edwards Apple Orchard! It is so much a part of the community that it is pretty much tradition to go to Edwards in the fall. They have something for everyone, from the children's playground, petting zoo and pony rides, to antiques on display, to the country shop with unique foods and gift items that would be difficult to find elsewhere- stuff like Gramma and Great Gramma used to make! Oh! And don't forget the FRESH APPLE CIDER DONUTS and FUDGE!!! Lots of fresh picked apples and fresh cider! Apple pie and pulled pork sandwiches! Yummy doesn't even begin to cover it! Ok... Guess where I'm going first thing in the morning! Haha! Aside from all of this yumminess, I think it's important to recognize their business and community ethic. They are a small business and are a staple in a small community. They employ a lot of local people of all ages. All of their products are VERY high quality. This is a great business from every angle!

I loved the apples cider donuts!!!! Great family time! Dislike how people stuff purses, backpacks full of apples and only pay one basket.

I would probably have enjoyed this place more if I had brought small children with me, as that's what this entire business is set up to cater to. There is a nice little farm museum, a large children's playground area, a petting barn, and of course a lot of great and not-unreasonably-priced food. Unfortunately, the reason my friends and I drove to the apple orchard was to actually spend time in the apple orchard. At Edwards, unlike every other apple orchard I've ever been to, you have to pre-pay before even setting foot in the apple orchard. And you can't walk around and look at other things you might be interested in, they drive you to a spot where they want you to pick and just set you down there. Where's the fun in that? On top of it all, the price you pay to pick apples - $40 for a medium-sized bushel - is almost insultingly expensive. No, there are no other sizes of bushel, it's a huge amount of apples or none. And the per-pound price comes out at or above what I'd pay at many grocery stores, even for organic, locally-sourced apples. I went on the last day of the harvest season, November 1st, and it was sad to see so many apples still on the trees and the ground carpeted with windfall apples. Clearly they've made the actual picking experience prohibitively expensive, not to mention pretty joyless. I think Edwards would do a lot better under a different name, maybe "Edwards Family Farm" or something to that effect, that would better capture what people actually do there. Maybe the customers who have never grown up around or been to a small family-owned orchard think that this is what they should actually be, in which case I pity them. If Edwards wants to brand itself an "apple orchard" they should really put more effort into making the orchard more fun and accessible, because right now it's by far the weakest part of their experience by far. I'd give the orchard itself two stars, but the other amenities they offered earned them another one.

Just love all the taste testing of dips and apples love all the gift items it's a all around family fun. I look forward to going every year. Just wish they took credit cards so I could buy more stuff and was able to order on line. Other than that its a great place.
