As famous sheet metal worker John Vrlec put it, "this place is yuppie heaven!" and I must casually agree. The apples are great, but the pumpkin patch has far better donuts right down the block on 173. The pumpkin patch is open now and everyone should turn around and go there. I'm not just saying that because I'm a paid rep either. Pumpkins are a healthier, better tasting snack then yucky apples. I know people traveling from Mexico for a *pickup bed full* of our famous pumpkin seeds. The pumpkin patch will sell you some apples too if that'll make you yuppies happy.

As far as apple orchards go, it's fantastic. Going to an apple orchard in the fall is a timely tradition for many people. It's hard to go wrong. Edwards certainly does not. Plenty of things for the kids to do and plenty of shopping and eating for the adults to do.

I have been going to Edwards Orchard since I was a little kit. I still remember how packed it used to be getting those amazing apple cider donuts. Picking apples, raspberries, and pumpkins. All amazing experiences along with amazing fun. You want to go to an apple orchard? You can't get much better than this.

I love this place and so does my son... the donuts, apples and ambiance! The only thing better would be if I could bring my dog! I have fond memories of going there with my grandparents 40 plus years ago!

I took my Girl Scouts to Edwards Apple Orchard on one of the busiest Sundays of the season this year. They were picking Fuji apples already, and the apples ranged from snack size to huge. They have a nice playground, petting zoo, restaurant and shop, as well as live music. The girls loved the baked potato tent, too. The way the pricing works is that you purchase a bushel basket for $40, which covers six people on the wagon ride to and from the orchard. You can put your apples in your own bags when you return and get $2 or $3 back for the bushel basket. I thought it was a great value. I had 8 girls with me and each girl got at least 10 or 15 apples to take home from our bushel.

It's a TRADITION! We go every year (I fly in from Los Angeles!) My family (who lives there) goes more often. We get apple cider donuts, play, take pictures, pick apples or pumpkins depending on how late in October I'm in town, ride the horse drawn wagon, kids do pony rides, listen to the band, walk thru the maze and just make an afternoon of it! This place is special and I'm sure you and your family will love it! I know we do!

Edwards Apple Orchard has been a Fall Tradition in our family for the last 19 years. This will be our 20th year, even though we moved from the area, we always love going back with friends who experience this wonderful place for the first time. Apple tastings in the barn is our favorite thing to do. In the past we would pick our own but were getting a little older. :) The Apple Donuts are the BEST!!!
