Tips & Tricks for using TWRP

I thought I'd start a thread where people can list some of the little known tips and tricks in TWRP. I'll get it started :).

How to take a screenshot

Power+Volume Down (same as in Android) - you'll see the screen flash, and if you look at the TWRP console, it will tell you where the screenshot was saved (the default location is your currently selected storage, in /Pictures/Screenshots)

How to delete a line of text

Swipe from right to left on the keyboard (from the backspace key), and all the text from the current cursor position to the beginning of the line will be deleted. This is good for deleting the default backup name when renaming a backup.

How to flash an image

Starting with TWRP, in the "Install" screen, there is a button in the bottom right that toggles the ability to flash either Image files or Zips. By default, only boot and recovery images can be flashed. Some devices have allowed other images, such as vendor and even system to be flashed via the TWRP GUI.

If you have any tips & tricks that you use in TWRP, feel free to post them here! :)

While I'm not a big fan of the M9, I'll always take a free one ;). Plus, UH-OH Protection is a great feature, though I've never needed to use it myself.

So, I was reviewing my all-time smartphone collection today. I've been a loyal HTC user since I switched from Verizon to AT&T for the HTC Fuze. At the time, it was the first VGA-resolution smartphone available - truly cutting edge for its time.

My current active device is the M9. Can you name all of the ones in between?

My first smartphone (not pictured) was the Motorola MPx220, a Windows Mobile smartphone that didn't even have a touch screen. I can't even imagine that, nowadays . . .

I have decided to take a (much needed) break from Android to become a "normal" user for a bit. I've logged out of Hangouts, uninstalled Tapatalk & AndChat, and don't intend on checking any threads on any forums until further notice. I'm just getting burned out, and not spending enough time on things that are the most important (the "real life").

So, this may not be goodbye, but it'll at least be see ya for a while . . .
