Raptors taking on Pacers tonight on the road.  Pacers are winners of their last 5 overall and are looking for their 16th consecutive home win.  They are also playing their 5th game in 7 days.

For the gamblers out there, Pacers are currently favoured by 7.5 points (8 on some books).  Like the Raptors against the spread tonight.  Previous two meeting this season were both 2 point victories for the road teams.  I like the Raptors to keep this game close throughout.

Rumors are flying regarding a potential trade between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors.  The trade would see Chicago send Carlos Boozer and Nate Robinson to the Raptors for Andrea Bargnani and John Lucas III.

The Bulls get to reduce salary and add some 3 point capability with Bargnani, who would also make for an interesting pick & roll partner to D Rose once he returns.

The Raptors gain a solid rebounder and a known commodity in Boozer but also add even more salary commitment.

Personally, I'd rather see the Raptors improve defensively and I look at Boozer as being more of a liability on that end of the floor then Bargnani.  I'm also concerned about the Raptors adding even more salary to this team.  Still, a potential 2013-14 starting line up of Lowry, Derozan, Gay, Boozer and Valanciunas is very intriguing.

Any thoughts from the Raptors fans?  Like / Hate this deal?

27 years ago today, Spud Webb won the 1986 slam dunk competition.  At 5 feet 7 inches tall, Spud Webb remains the shortest player to ever win the dunk competition.

Kevin Garnett has just passed the 25,000 point mark for his career.

He is the only player in NBA history to accumulate at least 25k points, 10k rebounds, 5k assists, 1500 Steals and 1500 Blocks

Celtics looking strong against Lakers tonight.

For the first time in years I'm excited for the NBA dunk competition and its all thanks to T-Ross
