When public school and society knows what's better for your children than you do. The schools suspends the child for non-compliance. What can the parents do to naughty teachers, administrators, or principals? They need to have some skin in the game, then we might see some changes.

When police are incentivized by Civil Forfeiture laws. Profits over doing the right thing. Where were the good cops?

Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
Introduction
Live and Let live. I will not enforce my morals or way of life on you, but please return the favor. If you want social programs and gropings at the airport and unaccountable law enforcers, then by all means, pay the taxes...Just let me opt out. I'll take care of my own and pay taxes when we use the roads or require any service.
I enjoy this coffee shop for studying. The people that come here are quiet. They are working on their laptops and talk is at a low volume. The shop owner must prefer classical music because that is all I heard. The coffee is tasty but I was unable to taste the hand pressed varieties. I'll come another time and see if they are offering. The decor reminds me of a New York brownstone condo . The warm colors and lighting do not distract. In fact they probably add to the mood. You can concentrate or huddle closer to chat. One negative is the noisy coffee grinders but that should be expected. Also, the bathroom needs cleaning! It is shared among the other businesses, but that is no excuse. All of the businesses can pitch in to ensure that the bathroom is clean for their clients.

I've been coming here since '96. This restaurant hasn't changed owners. It is the BEST su-pul-kalbi in Daegu. It's not just the beef, it's the side dishes (ban-chan) and noodles that they serve. The entire meal is well worth the fair price. If you're starting your night with friends or ending a day of work, this place will serve as a great starting or finishing point.

This has to be the best sushi in Daegu. There is always a line outside. Opens at 12pm and closes by 10pm. It's a tiny place with simple decor. It seems all their energy went into the food and you can taste it! If you have the time and desire for kickass sushi, come here.

This isn't your conveyor belt sushi restaurant. This place serves selected dishes and bowls of soup. The lunch menu is good to satisfy your hunger, but gourmet sushi, this is not. The price is good for what is served. I'll come back when I'm hungry but not looking for the best.

This is a Japanese restaurant. Of course it caters to the Korean pallet, but as a westerner, it still tastes good. I had the lunch menu. It came with 6 pieces of sushi, dongcass, shredded cabbage, and noodle soup. For 9500W it is quite tasty and filling. Standard Japanese decor. Service is decent. I will come again to try their other dishes.

My wife had our first baby here in 2008. We depended upon their good judgment. At the time the decisions we made seemed necessary. Looking back I have several regrets. After 12 hours in labor they pressured us for a ceasarian section. We should have said no. Labor, especially the first child, can take a long time. Under pressure and relying on their expertise we consented. The surgery was done poorly. She had scarring that was fixed by another doctor on our second baby. She was robbed of the experience for a natural birth. Due to the C-section we were told we could have no more than 3 children. They robbed us of the opportunity for more children. I believe the doctor was more concerned for his time and the bottom line rather than his patient. If you want a natural birth, this place has a low natural birth rate and high c-section rate. Don't be tempted by the water birth tank...they don't use it. Be careful this is a place of business, not a place of caring. The next hospital we used took good care and charged a fair price.

I love duck meat. I've visited several here and this one is Good! The staff was friendly and a few spoke English. The decor is average, but it is clean and that is very important. They serve large portions. From the duck meat to the side dishes. The secret to good duck meat is the puchuu (flavored greens...each restaurant has their own style). This puchu was tasty, but not the best. This place is good for friends and family, but if you're looking to impress, you should go elsewhere.
