Friends…..If you dream big for your business, your family or even aspects of your life keep working hard to bring it to reality. Don’t let doubt or the fear of failure prevent you from your destiny.

Remember, doubt kills more dreams than failure; it can cripple you into non movement.

Try to think positive and MOVE. Keep moving mentally and physically in the direction of working on your dreams.

Even if you fail at attempt 1,2, and 3 so what? Try again.

You will be one step closer to succeeding, you will be wiser and stronger and you almost certainly be more respected by all of those that are afraid to try.

Remember, dreams are seeds; the seed of greatness is within you. Never give up on those dreams even if the hurdle of failure is what you must overcome before you get there.

Have you wasted time and some of your energy stalking other peoples social media page? envying Miss X's great Bikini body? Resenting Mr Z's successful career ? or the fact that your age mates are married with kids and you're still looking for a boyfriend? Have you taken your precious mind where it has no business going? Worse still, have you taken it from your mind and vocalised it?

But why?

Don't step, sabotage, interrupt or deter someone else on their journey. Because quite frankly you need to stay focused on your own lane. You can't run the race set before you if your eyes are too busy on the lanes beside you. Can you?

We use the term haters too often but in reality these people are simply lane squatters, dual lane huggers, lane hoppers....
People that don't belong in your lane but have somehow found their way on to yours and have refused to face the long road ahead them.

Truth is, some people are destined to be preoccupied with other people's lives....Other people's lanes.
Truth is, the distractions in life are too sweet for some to resist.
Truth is ....Some people are destined to crash because they are too busy focusing on others in their destined lane.

Stay focused, don't get distracted!
"When you’re in your lane, there’s no traffic"
It's actually less stressful.
Everyone has somewhere to be.
You can’t even get to where you are headed if your eyes are on the right lane and you’re all the way over in the left.

You’ll crash before you know it.

"You people"

"Which people?"

"Ndi Igbo".....thats how my day started.

When a conversation goes in that direction it normally does not end well.
I mean really? I have talked about people generalizing before but my God it is irritating!!!!

Let me use the Igbo wo/man as an example (but you could swap the word Igbo for a tribe of your choice)

One Igbo mans opinion does not speak for all. Or did you call a meeting with every single Igbo to gauge his opinion? I must have missed that meeting.

Stop being lazy, it irritates ME ( yes me, an Igbo woman.....Not the voice of all Igbos.....just an opinion from someone of Igbo heritage ;)

Apart from being a very lazy way to think it has the pungent smell of tribalism and undertones of dogmatism. It's the kind of mindset that makes a whole tribe pay for the wrongs of a few. Oh, you may not know that because that event ( we shall leave nameless for now) is being systematically erased from history....remember history? Oh yea, that's also not being taught any longer.

Tribalism and ethnicity have penetrated deeply into the fabrics of Nigerian society. It has distracted many and hindered development.

If a Nigerian has an opinion it is theirs regardless of their motives. But it will be foolish and lazyiness on your part to believe that one voice represents all. Life isn't that simple. #EndOfRant #DropsMicWalksAway #MeschewwwwFace
