We Track That, sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is the first ever National Environmental Public Health Tracking Week. During the second full week in July, CDC, state health departments, and other national organizations are coming to highlight environmental health issues that are important to improving the health of our nation and recognize the work of the Tracking Program.

The mission of tracking is to provide information that can be used to plan, apply, and evaluate actions to prevent and control environmentally related diseases.  Understanding how these and other environmental factors are linked to chronic disease is essential to disease prevention- and to protecting the health of our communities.
