Made the most wonderful pasta tonight with broccoli from our CSA, gluten free pasta, olive oil, lots of garlic(more than you dare!), red pepper flakes and parmesan. The secret? Blanching the broccoli and then placing it in an ice bath to prevent further cooking. Cook the pasta in the same water per package directions; then you heat up the olive oil in another pan with the garlic(remember you want a lot); then you toss the broccoli so it's coated with oil (add more if needed). Season to taste with salt and hot pepper flakes. Toss with cooked pasta and some pasta water. Serve with freshly grated parmesan! So wonderful!
